As a youth my Great Gramps and Gramma at end of days would retire to backporch to have tea and cookies, while watching sun set across the lake and timbered lands. I soon noticed they hardly spoke until one or other said they were going to retire. In those quiet eves as sun set the birds quit chirping animals quietly ate or fed their bairn,as if the earth was falling asleep. After great Gramps passed she and I sat quietly until dark. When after a few years I had to leave, SHE thanked me for all the "serene times" at darkfall. Serene is not spoken of these days but as I watch you at your and animal buds, I sense the serene life is still about.

I absolutely adore Wim Hof. He is just such a magical man and I don’t know if I could do the ice water, but I will try one day! I hope you get back into the cold showers. I think Willa sees fish in the water and is searching for them using her paws. I'm surprised she didn't actually get a hold of one of those. It sounds like you'll be going on a trip to Canada to see Lisette. That will be great. When I grew up and was camping with the Boy Scouts, we would do a Polar Bear plunge into a very cold pool in the winter. That's what your extremely cold showers remind me of. Thanks for the video.

Is that a C major B sharp it sounds nice...it looks like Willa is digging for snacks in the water, crawdads, snakes or frogs...yeah. Cold water is fun, a 1/2 " pipe with a hose bib on one end and a shower head on the other, then use pipe brackets to attach it to the fence post and you won't need to hold that water wand. Such a beautiful area for splashing with water. A wonderful video TY for sharing the good news.

Just cute as hell. You have the best bikinis. I used to do extended cold baths , Yes, the serotonin boost is amazing , and also yoga stretches after, as the Tibetans do . I would freeze a couple gallon water jugs, and just toss them in the tub. I would start with a hot bath, then cool it gradually with the cold faucet. Then add the jugs. Generally, I'd do this around November , when I crash. I could do a full hour. Doing this for me in summer feels a bit odd, but then again, I fish trout, so I could just plunge in the Farmington river , which is cold as hell. Doing that very soon. If you have any reservoir tailwater (bottom layer cold release) streams nearby, those might be worth a look, with caution, of course. I totally want a GoPro, and a chest holder thing now. Glad to hear you got the rental thing fixed , Do not rent to Nashville guitar players , they'll trash the place, vomit everywhere, leave mangey pets behind, and then flee when the ATF shows up.
