Dani, I had a similar back seizure when I was cleaning a shower and was in an odd position for a long time. My doctor gave me a light exercise that's miracle he said that any of his patients that did it 10 times in the morning have never returned for the back issue. I can tell you that over several years it works whenever I feel my lower back tightening up I just remind myself to do this exercise. n you lay flat on the floor and you raise your knees up to your chest as far as you can and then lower them back to the floor so that you're laying prone then you bring your knees up to your chest as far as you can again and you do that 10 times I do it 20 because over time I've built up. You're actually strengthening your stomach muscles which sounds counterintuitive but it's a supports your lower back. I promise if you do this for a week you'll feel the looseness in your lower back and the strength.

Your videos and photography never cease to amaze me! Your compassion for wildlife is admirable. I was so happy the baby bird was adopted by the adult birds. I’m not a doctor; I used to be a fitness instructor in my younger days. Be careful with sitting too long as that causes the hip flexor muscles to tighten. The muscle runs from your lower back, around the hip and attaches to the front upper part of your leg. When it tightens, it can cause severe lower back pain. Stretch those muscles! Look for videos on how to stretch the hip flexors. You’re way too young to have back issues! Hopefully that was a one time issue that can be controlled with proper exercise and stretching. Have a blessed day and thanks for your beautiful videos!

It's my first year in Sweden, in nearby Umeå, and I like the wildflowers so much that I wonder why people even bother to grow more high-maintenance flowers. I've made no effort to grow a garden, and every couple of weeks I'm surprised by a new type of flower that appears next to my apartment. I went to Luleå for the solstice, about 80km from the Arctic Circle. I made a point to take a photo at midnight, and there was still yellow on the horizon. It's bizarre to see the sun on the horizon due north. Midsummer is indeed a big deal here. I was told that it's a bigger deal than even Christmas. Indeed, I had a difficult time finding a place to eat because almost all of the restaurants were closed. I also herniated my disc, about 15 years ago, and I immediately suspected it when you described not being to stand up straight. Every year or two, I aggravate it, and at its worst it's the worst pain I've ever experienced.

These are the words of Christ addressed to the man he healed, John 5: 14: "Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." What an unexpected prevention - “sin no more”! Doctors do not pay attention to the role of the Nervous system, which controls all processes and organs in our body. This happened because the deceitful and corrupt clergy of world religions have been disseminating false teachings about the “immortality of the soul” for thousands of years: doctors and scientists who tried to claim that there is an organ in the human body that thinks, feels and controls it, were subjected to severe persecution, even to the point of destruction as heretics, because “the soul is immortal and incorporeal.” This is the word of God, Ezekiel 18: 4: “For behold, all souls are mine: both the soul of the father, and the soul of the son, is mine: the soul that sinneth shall die.” Romans 6: 23: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Priests brazenly lie all over the world, but those who try to expose their lies are persecuted. The problem is that this world is ruled by the Devil, a liar and a murderer. Therefore, there is good news about God's kingdom: Our Creator, Jehovah God, has appointed a king, Jesus Christ, who will restore order. Even the dead will be resurrected and we will see our beloved ones again. :-) Isaiah 33: 24: "And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity." Malachi 4: 2: “But for you who fear My name, the Sun of righteousness will rise and healing in His rays, and you will go out and leap like fat calves;” Psalm 83: 18: "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth."

Dani and anyone else that's bulged a disc this way- if this happens get a bag of frozen corn or a rolled up towel. Lie straight on the floor then get someone else to help you elevate your legs onto a chair so your thighs are straight up and down and your calves are on the seat part of the chair. Then carefully lift up your lower body (hurts like hell but trust me this will fix it if you can muster the strength) and slide the frozen corn or rolled up towel under the lumber of your back where you have bulged the disc. Try to relax the weight of your body onto the corn or towel. It should help ease the disc back into position. I know this as i have bulged a disc many times since i was young and a chiropractor told me what to do in the event i couldn't get to someone to fix it. Its super important to try keep active as much as possible and go for walks (push through the pain because walking helps strengthen the muscles and get things back where they should be) My back has improved out of sight since i got rid of furniture and went minimalist/japanese style. I sleep on the floor and sit on the floor and i hardly hurt my back anymore because sitting on the floor and sleeping on the floor strengthens your muscles and improves circulation because you move position more and your bones go back in alignment better. Beds and couches might make you feel all comfy and dreamy at the time but they are really bad for your back, bones and your immune system. Anyway i hope this helps anyone who is going through this. Its extremely painful and can feel like you are cut in half! If you are prepared to take my advice which is hard at first (sleeping on the floor etc is a shock to the system but after a while you get used to it) you will reap the rewards later on and have less back problems injuries and pain besides that you end up with rock hard abs which is crazy awesome. I am so strong in the core now it amazes me because i used to work out and was never this strong. All this being said you still need to be mindful how you do things after you have bulged a disc - it doesnt pay to lift heavy things leaning over etc. Slouching in "comfy chairs" etc is a mistake because the back muscles relax and its easy for the back disc to slide out of place again.

I am just awestruck by the way you captured the ambience, especially at the introduction od this episode! Some of the best you have ever done in my humble opinion. Having lived in Sweden for 69 years I can feel the fragrance, the sounds and things I couldn't put into words - or pictures - that you managed to convey. I do think that when you do these "small things" (maybe small because I am a native Swede) you really excel. I mean, all these films of puffins, pumas, Spanish lynx or whatever is absolutely spectacular, but you really give life to Arundhati Roy's sentence "The god of small things" with these everyday nature life - and activities - captions! Just wonderful! And take care with your back - it could even be coming from the sacro-iliacal joints. You should consult a good physiotherapeut who could give you good advice how you protect your back when working! Best regards!

@DaniConnorWild So nice to hear again from you, Dani! Watching your beautiful bird caring experience. But also sad, you have suffered disc issues with your back. I know this from my own experiences, actually a common photographer issue, always carrying a lot of weight from equipment on the shoulders, often with asymmetrical load distribution on the vertebrae. If you travel, please take care using a camera bag with integrated trolley wheels, so you could put weight off your body as much as you can for reducing burden of the vertebra discs. Additionally, yes, even if you don't feel any pain consciously, your muscles are doing their own thing trying to reduce pain. They get themselves into tight suspension, which is sadly often exactly the way to get things worse. This is why you couldn't move anymore all out of the sudden. You simply don't expect this coming,. especially as a young person. Don't worry. It happened also in my still-young ages. It's not about a matter of age, but of repeated asymmetrical heavy load on your back. You don't even notice much, until it strikes in at a totally different occasion. There is an excellent cure for exactly this issue. I didn't believe very much in it, until I had to find a solution to my own back pains some 12 years ago. I couldn't get rid of it by simply resting or being careful. I never used pain killer, because it just makes the sensorics numb, but doesn't remove the source of the issue. The surprisingly good solution was going to a very experienced acupuncture practice. I was given a 50 minutes therapy of combined acupuncture and cupping by a very experienced TCM doctor. The pain has been reduced by roughly 70% instantly after the therapy. I could have walked without significant pain after several months! The doctor had already the concern, I might need a second session. In real the pain came back after a week or two. I was first a bit very disappointed. Maybe I should have taken the second session at that time. But I didn't have time or mood, thought I would have wasted the money already. The wonder came much later. After the season I took a very long resting period. I felt the pain gradually going back over a time of maybe a month. And it never came back ever again. So, if this experience of mine could encourage you, please don't wait for too long. Look for a very good TCM acupuncture practice in your region or anywhere else. I'm sure, in London you could find any with excellence. Of course, I hope even more, you could have already recovered completely, so you wouldn't need it anymore. But I had to share this experience with you, just for any case you could need this knowledge. Best greetings from Southern Germany! And thank you once again for your wonderful videos! ❤

Thanks Dani for another lovely video. The cinematography is excellent and relaxing to watch; and the music and your voice is relaxing to listen to as well. You really have a way with small creatures that is heartwarming. Please take care and continue your wonderful work.
