Beautiful wood, I like the TVJones pick ups for a change. One thing I would like to hear is the guitar with no dirt, no effects, just completely clean and change between neck and bridge. Really nice guitar !!!! Rock on !!!

Yes it is!! Thanks very much! I've been spending a little time with this one, and it just rips. The neck is just right, the pickups are perfect!! Can be crystal clear or Malcolm Young dirty.

Who says there’s no such thing as tonewood. This guitar has a distinct woody tone. It’s freakin’ awesome.

tone wood is total BS everyone knows its BS your string guage ation height and pups and your amp with its setting and the speaker thats your sound wood dont matter , i have seen and hear a strat made from all cardboard still played and sound like a strat same thing i seen 3d printed guitars sound the same on the same gear with the same setups so there for tone wood is a joke and total HS on electric guitars , the only time any tone is in the wood is ona full hollow body and even that is very litltle and on acoutic guitars its just the top how ever on all guitars strings matter heights matter on acoutic guitars the biggest is the body size and dimensions strings and string heights very little. in the aucutal top but some in thetop for sure the rest of the wood means next to nothing in an acoutic even Martin Guitars talks abotu this ina video in reguads to acoutics and other channels and my onwn testing have proven as well tone woood is not a real thing in solid and semi hollow electrtics and not mich in the hollow but some only becase a hollow body guitar is a chanmber like an acostic and the pups used in hollow bodys are like micorpghones known as unpotted or non coated pups this will allow the sound in the chanber to influce sound more how ever you still have the string guage and type and amp and its speaker the speaker accounts almost 80% of the toneor sound just on its own for all electrics period .. no doubt they guy made a cool guitar in this video but the wood means nothing . those filtertron pups and he setup and string choice his amp and its speaker thats where its at.. sustain we can also look at in another chapter how that all works but iam sure we have covered enough for now..

Don’t believe the B.S. Tone wood makes a guitar. Wood matters! Stop believing the crap from charvel, LTD, playing shredders, that will never be able to hear the truth. They were born without ears. If your sense of smell is bad, you won’t be able to smell wonderful perfumes, food, girls! If you can’t see, you can’t say something is pretty or ugly. If you can’t taste, how can you now the wonderful taste of foods or know if food is bad. Some people or uneducated people, will never know the difference, that great wood makes in a guitar...

Stunning guitar. What is the rest of the body, pine or spruce? What finish u use? My tech made me a new-tele body from spruce. It so unusual solidbody material, its so soft, but sounds good, and the guitar is so light. Because of its softnes it will geet relic-look soon i thing ;)

Beautiful work ! Wouldn't change a thing. I have used pine/spruce in my guitar builds with maple tops. Love it and keep up the good work. Cheers.

😎 Thanks Justin ⚓️ did you make the neck? Also ? routing the neck pocket? How do you set up the jig for routing? Make your own jig? Align with bridge drillings? Thanks 🎸 great guitar 😎
@foggylaneguitars2087 Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Not only did I make the neck, I actually harvested the tree that it came from. Not even joking!! As for routing the neck pocket, it uses to be a time consuming process, with a couple of different templates and some careful measuring, remeasuring etc. But after this body, I decided to make a template that had it all in one. Now its a simple matter of lining up the center lines on both the template and the body, setting the depth stop on my router to 5/8 and get er done

Which body is that?
@ZBoyforlife Жыл бұрын
@@foggylaneguitars2087 The one from the earlier videos. This body is completely different than the one from the last video. The original body was bookmatched straight down the middle, the body in this video is 3 pieces. Did the original body get wrecked in between videos? Or did you just make two at the same time?

@@ZBoyforlife do you mean this one? kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5ypqYGZfLCBnsU That one is just sitting there waiting for me to route all the cavities. I have several bodies floating around. The finished one is made from a really old 2x4 and the center seam body is made from really old 1" thick board. Hang in there I'll get around to it....eventually lol

That sound to me is more like 120 year old spruce but it is close enough to 115 and most people would not be able to tell. But most of the sound from guitars all depends on what you clean your guitar with. And how far off the planet you really are?

отличная работа! но в гитаре больше 50% звучания это гриф, дека из старого дерева отлично , но как ни крути, звуком всё равно инструмент не может похвалиться, он звучит, и сделан отлично,но это звучание на уровне бюджетного инструмента...
