HAPPY WIFE ,,HAPPY LIFE😂 I always use spider spray around my doors and windows,to keep those beetles out,and I also use eucalyptus oil in a sprayer to spray around window sill also,wherever there's a crack they coming in 🐞🐞

That's cute, the chicken on top of Cody when he is on the ground fixing the vehicle. You can do wainscotting how ever you want. We did chair rail height to prevent the backs of chairs in the dining room from rubbing up against the wall, but a bathroom has no chairs. You could do it higher and incorporate pegs at a taller height for drying towels or towel racks. Glad you could compromise. The floor looks good up against the white wainscotting. The busyness of the pattern will make hair and floor debris stuff less noticeable.

Just had both my bathrooms remodeled and I had my beadboard cut 48 inches and sat it on top of a 6 inch base board Looks very farmhouse with taller wainscotting.

I like the 42" height of the wainscoting. It ties in nicely with the door center rails on the enterance door and the one on the side, and would look odd if it were higher IMO. Good call on making the additional trim to add to cover the spaces on the pocket door, finished off much nicer. The bathroom turn out very well and looks good. Great job you two!! I very much enjoyed this video. Listening to both of your thought processes and personal interactions makes for a good mix. Swedish country style more than half the wall. When done in a bathroom it’s usually done higher to use as a back splash for the sink as well. Cody the old style wainscoting is 1/3 rd height. So you weren’t totally wrong lol. ❤❤❤

Use spearmint and peppermint around doors and windows, it helps. I hung a fresh pine tree wreath on front door and put mint plant in it, and soaked the ribbon in peppermint oil. It's pretty strong.

In Michigan we had those Asian bugs too. They use to crawl along our ceiling and windows like 2x a year. One time we could barely walk to the truck and be covered. ❤

Last time u talked about the bathroom paint it was def. getting changed and to a blue... Cause u also said u was over the green even on the front door that it would get changed as well... I dont mind the green but think the blue would look much nicer... And i think the wainscotting (sp) looks just right at the level you put it... :) Looks really nice and esp. with the little seperation wall ya did between the bath and laundry...

Y'all are getting cranky these days! lol I love the way the bathroom came out. Summer I get your idea on the Wainscoting, but that would work in a large bathroom better. I think you guys did the right thing. I think there is too much yellow in that green paint you used. More of smokey green similar to an olive green or even a mintier green may work better for you. Oh yea, I absolutely love that floor! It's so fun and looks great!
