I'm no expert on concrete or engineering, but isn't there supposed to be footers/sauna tubes to support the large step structure? Otherwise it'll move and crack. Everytime I see Victory do it, Ryan digs out the post holes with the skid steer and puts in the sauna tubes. Not sure when/where it's applicable and when it isn't. Otherwise, good job my friend. Keep the hustle grind going! Don't ditch Victory just yet. Still much to learn and a steady paycheck is a valuable thing.

Just like the house I owned at one time. It had a small set of steps like that poured solid. Instead paying to have it removed we built a large wooden deck over it. It looked better and saved us several hundred dollars that it would have cost to have it removed.

That’s not a legal stoop here. The top landing has to be 1.5x the width of the door. Meaning if the door is 32” wide, the stoop has to be 48” from the house to the top step.

Ryan mentioned in one of his recent videos you had both bid for one of the same jobs and you ended up getting it. At that point you're a competitor. Reasonable to think that next season you'll parting ways, this season was in question. No reason to keep you on once he has his building up and he gets a new finisher. Ryan might be letting you take these extended side jobs away from what Victory has going on right now just so that you can be able to run your registered business full time next season and not as a side job.
