That could be crucial to where TR ends up. Like you, I think he can leave. Not offered much this time around. Matty Platt. Just look how much he's improved from the back end of last season/start of this one. Would make my squad every week now. I honestly think we have the nucleus of a very good squad. If we can play like we did the last seven games of this season, we will be in the auto's (obviously). Also, remember. We had a woeful early season, Hughe's p**s poor selections and formations. It really wasn't until November that we started to improve, Ok, slightly but we did. I can see it being a season to remember come August. Is it August yet???? What am I going to do for four months. Might have to have 'meaningful' conversations with the other half. Instead of saying, yeah, when the footies done. Is it August yet...Please.

Being a Bradford outcast and living in Wales I can hang my city flag in the front window and no one bats an eyelid. Even though it’s got a big cock on it. If I put a St.Georges flag in the window they’d break in and kick the dog….. and ask you why your not interested in kicking an egg around the field and fondling some sweaty Herbert in a scrum….. strange place down here matey.

My thoughts are pretty much the same as you. I’ve got a feeling there might be something to the Dan Kemp rumour after GA stated that some of our targets are still playing. And considering I can’t see us signing many Championship or L1 players who are regulars, this suggests there could be some targets in the L2 play-offs. Also Elliot Watt might be ideal to challenge Smallwood in midfield. We are light in bodies there and Salford City apparently have released him and Matt Smith. And those both names, especially if we can move on Vadaine Oliver and Tyler Smith might be useful.

Bantams online- some good options out there this summer on frees but unfortunately think most of them are unrealistic as most will want league 1 football but if we are getting that budget increase there is a added expectation to bring those calibre of signings in but as ever dont think we will deliver

@@enzoglanton1 I agree dont think kemp will come and not sure if we really need him but a exceptional player nevertheless, I rated watt 1st time but didnt think the system suited him under the managers hughes was the one but he left now under GA I dont think it is the right style for a watt in midfield

@@raynersbantams there is always the potential for being let down so probably sensible to keep expectations to a minimum. There’s quite a few other options and Rupp needs to keep his word about putting money in to the players budget or we have to somehow off load a lot of contracted players before we can begin to talk about even the players I mentioned let alone better options. Because the players being released doesn’t amount to much in terms of budget available to GA for incomings. So it might actually be a good sign that Rupp is going to keep his word. Because I can’t see many teams paying what we are for the likes of Vadaine Oliver, Tyler Smith, Ash Taylor, Adam Wilson. All of our top earners are still at the club bar Harry Chapman, whilst all of the lowest have been released. As things stand we could probably afford two Theo Robinson’s and 2/3 of Lee Angol without moving on any top earners or Rupp putting his hand in his pocket.

Smallwood has finally been played in his specialist position. He needs to be the lone defence midfielder. His partnership with Gillead I have said from the beginning doesn't work imo. It's possibly OK defending a lead but offers nothing positive. Hughes wasted him. And GA the same until recently IMO

Absolutely spot on I love gilli but gilli doesnt contribute enough to play next to a Smallwood week in week out and that puts more pressure on him recently hes done the basics really well at winning ball back and giving it to the more creative players

Sent him back to west brom and then he went to Shrewsbury hasnt really played there but liked what I saw from him in the brief games he had probably offered more than a few others who had more of a chance
