It's not all watertight there are two more roof structures to erect, one adjacent to the turret and the turret itself. They most probably should have taken down the arch at the top and rebuilt it before putting the roof structure up and all the repairs to the chimneys should have been carried out also, it looks like it will create more problems in the future but we will have to wait and see!?!

This was scary to watch..you guys are something else…😅. Great job.. not an easy task. Now it is really looking like a real building not a bombed out place for wild trees and plants to grow in like a flower pot. Sitting in the middle of a wild forest. You had it all dirt, rubble, plant life . A huge clean out and a controlled tree cutting. Floors to install where none existed. You have built a driveway from scratch. Found a well for your water. Built a Yurt for your shelter. Raised a family of puppies. Planted a designed land scape garden. Finally, successfully built a very unusual as well as very dangerous roof in sections. You are under roof. What a difference a year has made. Your vision is coming into fruition. With your best friends and team working like a fine tuned instrument together. Congratulations to all of you. Dan you are the man. You never give up.. you work hard with or without help. We have watched both ways.

@@mysterj1dismantling won’t be easy, what with the two pillars and the angled arch with the heavy decorative granite pieces. I think the internal part will need cross bracing and maybe the pillars should be boxed in on three sides and then a very strong platform braced on the roof, high enough to start removing the peaked granite stones. And carefully move down from there. Safety helmets, gloves and steel-toed boots a must. But maybe that’s just me.

Amazing job resurrecting this old château well done huge efforts !!! Please correct me if I'm wrong but all the roofs and facia cladding ive fitted over the years when using a membrane we always leave an air gap both side of the sheet to allow condensation and air to flow both sides with the use of batons , putting the sheet hard up against the OSB doesn't allow for full circulation of any moister build up unless Ive got this totally wrong and its just a temporary fix to seal in the building ! Happy to hear anyone else opinion on this ! Keep up the great work !
