You guys have no idea how necessary your videos are; for me anyway. I am often unwell and all I can do is watch videos. You captured a life I envisioned for myself. Since it’s not possible, I live it through yours’. You could post daily about anything and we would watch. You have captivated your audience in a special way. I know I say it often, but your slow, cinematic videos and story telling evoke emotions. Its always beautiful. You are a standup couple. You don’t need to gloss over hard times, struggles or burnouts. We learn something and grow with you. With how mad the world has gone, I love escaping to your world and for 20 minutes, I can breathe and enjoy the moment. I can’t wait for your next video it never comes soon enough. No pressure. I especially love yeast dough and find it therapeutic. therapy is a great support. I worked in the mental health field at a master level with children struggling with negative behaviors and their families. Learning new skills can be beneficial, and we all can use support when all our hats weigh us down. Self care is something we all get better at as time goes on. You are a lovely couple. I enjoy watching and learning from you it is such a treat seeing it all. Jimmy Stewart is one of my favorite actors. I visited his hometown of Indiana, PA, where h is life is celebrated. I think lots of creators struggle with many of the same issues and I think you are making some really smart choices going forward. I love your channel so much. It’s such a lovely place to “visit”. You are to be commended for the wonderful outpouring of both your creative enterprises. Yes, keep your tea cups filled up. Why should this year be a copy of 2023? A blank page does not imply a blank mind. It shouts possibilities, as does being overwhelmed with too many many choices. This is common in those who flex their creative muscle.

I never had any thought that you scripted your videos, which shows how natural you are. When you mentioned fairy tales, I had an idea. I would adore watching an original fairy tale written and created by you two. You wouldn't have to do fairy tales on a regular basis. It would be a bit of serendipity. Anyway, I'm retiring at the beginning of spring. I will be getting used to a new lifestyle. I'll have a lot of things to do in the garden so I am so looking forward to it! I also moved to the East Coast from California and I am now seeing my old neighborhoods being ruined in the floods and sad that I am not there with my old friends. After making a few calls and finding out they are fine, I feel better but it's a little sad watching it all from a distance. I looked for your channel for the comfort it provides. I just want to say how very beautiful and calming your videos are...they are my get away . As I have aged walking became a problem. The pain in my feet really took away my joy of walking. So watching your videos takes the place of my long walks. And you go place I would never get the chance to visit on my own. Spaces like yours are very much needed. Looking forward to seeing your growth in the coming year! After 2 years of struggling with health issues and chronic pain my focus/intention for the year is to build back a relationship with my body. Health issues left me with feelings of anger, fear, frustration, and a lack of trust in my body, but I need to focus on nurturing it and feeling safe(and happy) in my body again. Also working on being less in a *survival* mentality and more into *thrival* because I feel like that mentality is keeping me from doing more to enjoy life.

I have my own business where I work from home, and setting business hours for myself and giving myself one day off a week are two of the BEST DECISIONS I EVER MADE. I subscribe to the Judeo-Christian concept of sabbath - taking a day of rest as a way to appreciate my finiteness and creaturhood. Also, I have suffered from bad health for years and eventually got to the place at which I had to decide to put my health first. It has paid off in the long run.

We all need those times with "Its a Charming Life" because we need to get away from all the horrible things on the news right now and in this world. We celebrate the good in the world and love to know we still have freedom in America and we pray to keep it. '' Love info on 'better health' Love you beautiful cat OLIVE! She is so beautiful love her print and her little white mittens, Love all your videos and look forward to see alot more of Olive, also! Your family has grown! We have a cat as well, "Figgy" as we got her from a local shelter and they called her Figallo and that is more masculine and meaning a comedy opera type figure. This is a female. but she never goes outside as of all that is out there and traffic, but she is actually content at home really. Love just enjoying what you enjoy and anything you want to share or places you go or even like today with chatting and having tea! I would watch your videos even if there was no editing and they were just shot ad hoc on a mobile phone. They don't need to have perfect editing etc. I am going to try to incorporate Fika time at some point everyday too! You are right that the world seems to go at a faster pace all the time, but I think we need to fight against that unhealthy and damaging fast paced and stressful way of life. I think time is more precious than money. Sleepy Hollow really does seem like a magical place to live. I really love your vintage fashion styles, so elegant and charming. I am adopting a magical, cosy cottage lifestyle too in my early 50s. Although I work in a busy job, I am determined to take time for self care and looking after physical / mental health as that is most important really. Look forward to seeing your videos this year....and please don't stress about editing etc. I love seeing the vintage things that you buy at the vintage fairs and how you decorate the cottage. Also loved the coverage of all the Halloween events at Sleepy Hollow. If the pumpkin carving gets too stressful, just cut down on it a bit. No point in taking on too much and then not enjoying it. But there is definitely hard work and and all to have it set up as is, but you two are living it so it looks so effortless, which is good and bad as you had stated with the getting back to not filming everything. That’s one of my goals for the new year to get more organized and make a functioning hearth. I have a lot of old chimney’s but no fire . They were probably coal and need relining . It is good to take your time and not feel overwhelmed! You have great goals that I hope you'll achieve. Your health is so important especially. It really is important to accept change gracefully. My hope and dream this year is to be outside more than I had been the previous year and to work on a big project that has to do with a passion of mine. It is hard to do all the things I really want to do, as I have an infant (and two teens, but they don't need my constant attention anymore). I am taking it all in stride.
