I love DMX, his rawness, his unique sounds and I got even more respect after watching his documentary how he really took care of his people and where he came from. If you take the fandom out of it and look at it objectively it is Pac every day of the week and twice on Sunday Pac is often mentioned in pantheon of rap when you talk greatest of all time. DMX is never mentioned in those discussions of the GOAT. There are levels of greatness and Pac supersedes DMX. Does not mean X is not great he just pales in comparison to Tupac.

As an outsider, I cannot fully comprehend all aspects to judge the importance and influence of either of them, but judging by music, skills and lyrics, X played a really important part in my life. I would go with him. When he passed away, I genuinely cried, like if it was my elder brother. Strong feelings about his art. "Let me fly", "Slippin", "Untouchables", "No Sunshine", etc. - those songs in my playlist non-stop. And Rap is the reason that I have learned English in the first place. R.I.P. to both of them.
