I’m glad he was able to showcase his voice in Kingdom because he really practices a lot! Like the other members have mentioned how he wakes up early and is working on his vocals way before anyone else is up and in the evenings when he’s practicing he’ll sometimes be up as late as Bang Chan. Which is saying something cause Bang Chan sleeps pretty late since he has insomnia.

Compare to the majority Kingdom performance, this performance was so simple yet it was one of the best Kingdom performance so far. No fancy props, no spectacular effects, no complicated camera movement, no choreography, just the three of them singing their hearts out on that small platform, but it was beautifully done. This wasn't type of performance that made you jumped here and there or being hyped during the performance, but it was the performance that would take your breath away, gave you chill all over your body, and left you speechless💕 😊 Anyway, Chan said the same thing as you guys, he said that this performance already sounds like digital released rather than live performance, because of how good the quality is 😅😊

As far as I remember, in Stray kids vlive, some members talked about how Seungmin is so strict to himself when it comes to singing and recording and apparently he still takes singing lessons.

I think in a recent one he said he practices / trains his vocals to work under less than ideal conditions because it's more likely that he'll be performing at less than 100% than under perfect conditions

I think a lot of vocalist still take singing lessons. Baekhyun took lessons to prepare for his last album; who would have thought. I can’t imagine how good Sungmin will be in five years time, considering that he’s so good now.

That’s the attitude of a king. As far as I know a lot of great vocalist still taking vocal lessons. One of them is Yang Yoseob. His group member Son Dongwoon still taking vocal lessons too. Baekhyun too for his last album before enlistment

when u mentioned seungmin's voice control, i remembered that during their survival show and they were singing 4419 (him, Chan, and Hyunjin), JYP commended the clearness of Seungmin's low notes. like it's not muffled or an echoing rumble. instead, his voice penetrates and it's, as you said, crisp. hence, i love our most stable and ever improving Seungmin

It was a gorgeous performance. It almost felt like they had sang together before but I know they hadn't. I think they all just enjoy singing and it's such a shame that we only got to get one stage from this incredible trio. It's really not fair if you ask me. FUN FACT: Eunkwang said that the Kingdom stages do not do Jongho's voice justice. He said he sounds way better in person - better than even he expected. He compare his vocal tone, quality and control to that of Kim Junsu. Yes, that's right, THE Kim Junsu of JYJ and TVXQ fame. Said if Jongho works hard and gets a good opportunity he has a chance to be a well known vocalist in the industry. What a compliment!

I got teary, I’m like a proud Mom to Seungmin. His hard work, extensive vocal practices paid off. He is talented even from the beginning (ofcourse) but his dedication and hard work brought him to where he is now today along with his 7 other brothers. I would also like to point out how good of a leader Eunkwang is. I don’t know much about BTOB but one thing is for sure, he is talented and he truly is a good hearted person. This is my absolute favorite cover of this song. Eunkwang arranged the piece as a producer and he knew exactly what each of his Makena’s need to excel. I wish the lyrics were included. This is such a heartbreaking song from IU for some of her idol friends that took their life, it tells them no matter where they are she or the singer will be there for them. Dying is not the way out.
