Great video. I'm loving the full rally stages and glad they added quick-mode to the game. The pace feels slower, not only because of the speed limit but somehow, I don't know. Hope the include quicksand and puncture in the game, they are listening to the community.

The Rocky stage looks really fun! Looking forward to the console update arrival. Those straight away tracks are just begging for a pedal to the metal no speed limit death run! 😂 thanks for the showcase of the new stages.

@@itsaPIXELthing but if it's in the event it makes sense to have it to me. But, that being said...a non speed limit option could be a fun challenge as well. Trying to finish the Dakar Rally would be a tough challenge with no speed limit...haha.

Saber will be launching patches 1.3 and 1.4 on Xbox consoles soon. Waiting for approval from Microsoft. The same for PS5 (patch 1.4).

Didn't know the developer had dropped the extended map until I saw this. Looks pretty good, too! I'm still trying to figure out how the manual navigation works - impressive how you almost always know where to go, or how to get back on track. Also, I would love to pilot that helo flying above! I know there's a helo cam view, but I'd like to try filming the rally myself.

We can pilot the helicopter after finishing an online event. And Dakar 18 was an awesome teacher in what navigation is concerned ;)

Is it the same after the DLC that you are competing only with 20 other drivers, instead of all the drivers which drove in Dakar 20'? Because it doesn't feel like a Dakar career mode, since you driving only against 20 drivers.

is this extended map only available on sim mode? that's really cheeky from the dev.........the Sports mode is fun chaotic and easy enough to navigate, with this kind of extended stages...it would be better

For now, the extended map is only available in Sim mode.

Your co-driver calls out distances in kilometers, yet the the distance you're actually driving in the game seems to me a lot shorter. is this just me?

I would say, this is a normal length stage. But I still think they messed up the notes and calls. Sometimes they don't make sense and are confusing and/or come way too late; "Right on road"-call comes, when you are ON THE ROAD at 90° to the road at 100+kmh. I'm kind of glad I didn't buy the game

I can tell that the notes were improved in this last 1.4 update. Even so, a lot of work has to be done in that regard ;)

Indeed, that was one of the reasons why I decided to refund the game. The co-driver is late like 80% of the time and even worse, there are factual mistakes in his notes (tested it multiple times). Also the extremely stupid AI is no challenge, they'll launch themselves into a rock all the time and by the end of a stage they'll have like 10 minutes(!!) just of repair penalties.
