Lol don't be shocked that Jimin picked jin up like it was nothing. Jimin is strong and athletic he just likes acting cute. He studied Chinese martial arts at a school for 2 years, he's a black belt in taekwondo, practiced hapkido, , and he did kendo for 8 years. He's not to be taken lightly if he ever wants to get serious LOL. I love that he's so cute but deadly.

If you wanna hear JK speak Busan satoori then listen next time you watch a Jikook compilation. Jimin and JK often slips in and out of Busan satoori when it's just the two of them speaking to each other, when they are alone and/or the same team etc. and that's when you mostly find JK speaking in dialect. It's not always full on Busan satoori but some words or sentences and sometimes for a longer while too. But it's easy to miss if you don't listen for it.

Something I've noticed is when idols from Daegu (i.e Suga, Woozi, Key or Tae) make a threat it's calm and terrifying because it's almost casual how easily they hurt you with their words.But idols from Busan (i.e Hoony, Jaeyoon, Jimin and Jungkook) when they threaten you it's in your face and there's no mistaking that you're about to be in pain.

The description of Busan dialect and accents reminds me of when I lived in England for two years. I thought that as an American we all had the same, but then I realized that what I was hearing was a mid-Atlantic sort of universal accent taken up by major networks. Since I do not speak Korean, I cannot tell a difference, but thank you for pointing that out. The more CDs that I buy in Korean language the more used to it I have become. And I like it.

As an American, I'm assuming the Busan dialect is similar to a heavy New York accent for English speakers. No matter how gentle the soul, the average New Yorker instantly sounds aggressive, streetwise, and like they are about to take you out. Which is why male New Yorkers instantly sound forceful and hot, but female New Yorkers have a difficult time coming across as soft and feminine. The dialect is just so hard-core. That's my takeaway from this video anyway (as a non-Korean speaker). Also, as you pointed out in regards to people from Busan, New Yorkers have an almost built-in confidence and swagger that can be very intimidating. I loved your in-depth explanations of the Busan dialect.

Jimin was the last member to move to Seoul to join BTS. The others had already learned the Seoul dialect. Jimin and V attended high school together in Seoul, where Jimin was bullied for his Busan accent. Taehyung was already a popular social butterfly; he stood up for Jimin and shut down the bullying.

Learning about the different dialects was new to me. Very much like everywhere else. England has different accents. The United states has very different accents in different parts of the country. I'm from the Midwest. We have little accent. I had to move to a Texas where it's a whole new southern accent and ways to say things. That was fun to learn about the guys. For a small guy Jimin has a big voice!
