How to Install Fluidmaster 400H-002 Performax Universal High Performance Toilet Fill Valve

My toilet was filling nonstop, causing our water bill to skyrocket! Found out the fill valve was having problems, so I replaced it and the problem was solved! Here's the installation and review of the product.

Get the 400A. Save some money. The 400H takes FOREVER to refill the tank. I found out by experience.

New hose from the valve to the toilet

@@ItsBinhRepaired replace the hose from the disconnect to the valve. They tend to fail and will cause a flood. Really cheap thing to replace

Would that have anything to do with it flushing and running and it overflowing? It seems like it doesn't flush hard enough and it ends up overflowing

It can adjust it to fill the tank with more water, but might be your pipes are constricted with stuff sticking around the inside walls

@@ItsBinhRepaired which pipes? I think it's really old you know The tank is the tank parts are old built up with minerals and crap. I know the pipes are fine behind it and the rest of it cuz we had leagues we had a lot of repairs to do last summer.

I've already done that I put juice open it hot boiling water snaked it but I have a cheap snake you know you can't hardly push it out push it through there so going to do it by hand like doesn't have a auger to it or anything that I plunge the hell out of it and what I read was to clean the toilet bowl all around with the holes are no way I might put my hand in there even with gloves lol

@heckeepagan4091 It shows you what to avoid. When people are shown the right way immediately, they leave stuff out and aren't careful. They also don't pay close attention. So many people didn't flush the lines after changing their sink faucet in one of my videos and damaged the valve, causing leaks because they just skipped around the video instead of paying attention...
