I think some of the reluctance on the part of women is they don't want to give up that moral superiority or the position or advantage that they've had or were given, so for them it's a very hard adjustment to truly get behind and follow a course for equal change. Using the phrase that's just the way it is sounds a lot like some of the opinions that they dislike about men. It's tough for someone who's had a unsaid privilege to admit it and to possibly change it. Be careful how much Independence powerful woman influence you get behind because it possibly is going to put you in a bad position or one that you really don't want

Or the jackass in the white shirt. He makes me ashamed to wear a backwards baseball cap. “Will commit the crime but not do the time” in his metaphor, women get away with murder and I’m not talking of fetuses, but of men’s reproductive rights. Men “commit the crime” then have to do the time, but women “commit the crime” and it’s all hands out to help her not do the time unless she wants to. Mind you committing a crime in this sense is literally just having sex, something we constantly espouse “people will do no matter how much you scare them.” Total horseshit.

If the movement was based on true equality a lot of men would gladly support the movement but it's not about equality, it's about women wanting the authority of a man, the privleges of a woman and the responsibility of a child. !

The problem is that we didn't get to dig deep enough inside her mind to know her answer. She didn't answer because there were other distractions. Basically, her answer would've possibly revealed a deeper insight into the whole problem. An insight which gives new directions because it contains more information than "that's just the way it is." Basically, we can see that there are numerous contradictions in that kind of view. On the other hand, if she truly holds those kinds of views that you spoke of and feels that they are justified, then in extracting the righteousness within them, some simple agreements can be made without moral or identity corruption on either the male or female side.
