The laughter from jokes is usually born out of an uncomfortable truth, but that uncomfortable truth can be different based on the perspective of the receiver. The discourse around the movie blazing saddles is a great example Dumb racist people think the movie is funny because the uncomfortable truth is just a bunch of negative poc stereotypes People with awareness and media literacy understand that it's funny because the uncomfortable truth is how stupid those negative stereotypes and hour common the people who believe in them really are

@@Dreweybaby That's because women listen to feminist doctrine instead of reading the bible. As the world turns away from the teachings of the bible, society becomes more chaotic. God's word is clear as day. ....... Ephesians 5:22-24 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. A lot of people respond with what they wish to be true rather than what is true. Generalizing isn't inherently bad, it's simply pattern recognition, it's what makes us human, it is our most valuable ability, it has allowed us to adapt and survive from primitive times all the way to modern times. But we have been beaten over the head since childhood "DISCRIMINATION BAD" that everyone associates the idea of generalization, judgment, discrimination with stereotyping, bigotry etc. Yet people recognize patterns and make judgements every moment of every day.
@pendragon4208
@pendragon4208 Жыл бұрын
So true, for some they see discrimination and generalization as the same when there are clear lines, and for good reason. If we were to singularly identify each person on whatever metric or parameter, it would never get done; thus generalization comes in. It can be wrong, which people need to understand, but it’s not a grand probability, so taking that into account can lessen when people think is ‘discrimination’ when we recognize certain patterns and behaviors and the likelihood of them. There’s a reason for birds of a feather flock together or if the shoe fits, wear it. If we were to be in a perfect world, it would be different, but here are, and we have to start acknowledging the positive and negatives.
@Xizziano
@Xizziano Жыл бұрын
Generalizations are based on statistics which are based on patterns.
@MrColdwilliam
@MrColdwilliam Жыл бұрын
@@Xizziano there are literally formulas in statistics that allow you to make the data say whatever you want. That's why looking at raw data and determining what's happening is important. Example: it was considered that raip was a male only problem against women until you looked at the raw data and found that it was like that because up until 2012 the crime was defined as "carnal knowledge of a woman against her will", meaning men couldn't be victims. When that changed the data shows that the numbers evened out (1.267M women v 1.260M men) with 73-75% of men calling women their perpetrators. Statistics are a geenrally poor way to base all thinking, especially without looking at the data itself. How it's collected, how words are defined, who is counted v excluded...

14:00 Sometimes, like the 'Mandella Effect' we will take in information and distort it in time. When I was younger I wrote in a journal. Years later I stopped, and decades later I found the journal. I recalled most of the stuff I wrote about, but there were certain facts that I recalled differently than the way I wrote them down AT THE TIME IT HAPPENED. That was a very scary realization.

This video should more than explain that. Look at the ladies who reject truth over feelings, bad decisions over good. I'll give you a hint: They don't know, and THEY DON'T WANT TO KNOW. People only come to these kinds of channels because they have an interest in what other people think. Most people? They simply don't think, they can't step outside themselves and consider their actions in a wider world - and although I've seen this with modern women mostly, there are PLENTY of delusional men out there as well.

Common Sense: The word common has multiple meanings. Everyone assumes it means "occurring very often", but it actually means (in this case) "shared by a group of people", in this case a community or a society. Common sense is NOT everywhere, because it is everybody's responsibility to SHARE it. "Don't touch that, it's hot". "Don't dive into shallow water". All of this stuff is taught to each and every person. The problem is most people are only out for themselves nowadays, so ... "common sense isn't"

Bruh...I was just think that as I read this. Thought provoking is like What is consciousness? How do we quantify or qualify it? what happens when death invades our body? Are we 3D shadows in a 4D world that have higher dimesions that we regard as God's? So on and so on..

To describe something without generalizing it, it is important to avoid using sweeping statements that apply to a group of people or things as a whole. Instead, focus on specific characteristics, traits, or examples that are unique to the individual or thing being described. For example, instead of saying "all women are emotional," describe a specific woman who is emotional in a particular situation. Instead of saying "all Muslims are terrorists," describe a specific Muslim who is peaceful and compassionate. It is also important to be aware of one's own biases and assumptions when describing something, and to avoid letting those biases influence the way you describe it. Be open-minded and willing to consider different perspectives and experiences, and avoid making assumptions based on stereotypes or preconceived notions. Overall, to describe something without generalizing it, focus on specific examples and characteristics, be aware of your own biases, and avoid making sweeping statements that apply to a group as a whole.

Learn what not to do from those that messed up. Learn what to do from those that succeeded. If you only learn from those who succeeded? You ignore the risk, and will be unprepared for them If things don't go as planned. You only learn from those who failed? You may become so risk adverse. That you don't even try. But if you learn from both? You can take risk, and also take steps to minimize said risk.

If it's within your means, you should travel to different countries and ask these types of questions. I think it would be interesting to see how different people from different countries respond to these questions.

@@iMAKEbeatsPEOPLEdude no. I'm in Asia and the women in my country are even dumber than these western women. At least there are some western women who thinks feminism is bad and Trump isn't a villain that mainstream painted him to be. In my country, ALL women are all in on feminism and the woke shit, thinks Trump is crazy because media said it, and believes in pseudo science like horoscopes and folk religion 😂
