Wallen has easily ranked #1 Country artist 2021, 2022, and 2023 according to Billboard year-end numbers. In fact, in 2023, he was ranked #2 for all-genres USA, and the main thing that kept him from #1 overall in 2023 was that Taylor Swift probably had the best year for an artist in the USA market history due to phenomenal album sales and touring gross revenue sales numbers; but Wallen did have the #1 song of the year, the #1 album of the year; he was the top streamed artist of the year; and the top hits artist of the year (Hot 100). For that latter title, it was the first time for a country artist since 1981 Kenny Rogers. As for top streamed artist, it was also first for a country artist, but that category has been around for just a short time. Wallen also achieved in 2023, the first honor of being the first artist to have the #1 song of the year and also the #1 album of the year, in the same year, since Usher 2004. In 2022, he was #1 ranked country, #5 for all genres. In 2021, it was the same; #1, #5, respectively. In 2020, he was #2 country behind Combs, but even back then, Wallen got the streaming title for a country artist. Luke Combs is still rocking coming in a distant second for the last three years, however, Zach Bryan is close to catching him lately for second. The part that's hurting Z Bryan on rank is having fewer albums for a career (2), and not really catching on with radio audiences to the same level as Combs. Combs has had 17 straight #1 songs on the radio if you count both Billboard and Mediabase opportunities; which is an all-time record (Sonny James - 16); unless you forgive Alabama for having a Christmas song NOT go #1, which upsets a 21 song run.

Upchurch is better. Just my opinion Only artist ever to have a number one billboard hit in the genres of rock, country, and rap. He is truly independent numerous gold numerous platinum numerous double platinum, Upchurch is demand. Country wise, check out real country, same old same ole, ballad of a country boy. But he also just recently had the number one album in the world and this was his rap album. Check him out. Ryan Upchurch Watts, bipolar, The album is a masterpiece.
