Just to note guys! This fanbase ranking isn't an OVERAL reflection. It's off my OWN experience, some comparisons are unfair comparing like myself watching PSV in the league & Ajax in Europe. It's unfair but a tier list based on how I thought that experience/atmosphere was! I love Dutch football, the fans and passion - I'll return to those clubs who didn't get the 'fair' reflection 😅 - Love and respect you all ❤️

When I was at PSV - Twente in March. Twente went ballistic lots of times. My impression of Twente fans are that they are passionate, but I think that's always the case when supporters go to an Away game.

Calling AZ fans insane has got to be the biggest joke. Go to a regular competition match. Can't compare European football to the national. Every stadium has a different atmosphere during European matches. AZ is one of the biggest jokes. The match against West Ham is all the proof you need.

NAC Breda - Willem II is the very last match of the year, all the way in May. Will take a long time for you to experience the Rat Verlegh stadium, but it is definitely worth the wait!

I'd definitely say come back to another PEC Zwolle match. We've had many issues where the fans and the club weren't getting along (actually still have some issues) and many fans were on 'strike', but I feel the atmosphere is definitely returning! also, love the love you have for Groningen, since probably no one else even knows of the club😅

Just an FYI Josh: Willem II - NAC will be played on the 24th of November in Tilburg at 2:30PM local time, the 'return ' will be played on May 18th 2025 at 2:30PM as it is the last matchday of the league. With the current standings in the 1 Division it might be worth going to FC Den Bosch against Excelsior on the 22nd of November. Time will tell if that will still be a first vs second place kind of game. But that weekend is definitely one to keep in mind for that matter.

Agreed with FC Groningen. Best hosts for away games in The Netherlands. Away fans welcomed with coffee, tea and cake. Good catering and nice staff. 7:25 Agreed with that as well. Experienced it several times. Also the present day Priske tragedy. Seen it through the years several times. Got to the point only two matches were really awesome. That's way to little. Good that others now can enjoy experiencing it for themselfs.

@@Mart538- Well in this case it's nice for awayfans to have a nice host. It creates a total different 'sfeertje' than when two very passionate/fanatical teams meet. I watched FCT uefacup match last thursday and I must say the 'sfeertje' was impressive. In this case it helped that the Turkish fans were fanatical as well. European football, match played in the evening, possibility of going to the restaurant and bar. Some fanatical guests dropping buy. Totally different circumstances than awaydays leaving home at 7:00 hours in the morning for combi fixture in eredivisie with start of the match at 12:30. Something something appels peren. 😁

If you really want I believe there are still some tickets on sale against Shakthar. It's all in the counting. like Feyenoord always reports full Stadium only because they count the ticketing meanwhile some clubs count the amount of people by actual attendance with the amount of scanned tickets (like twente) The best way is to check at the amount of away fans
