As an elderly person myself with a bad back (my doctor has informed me that I’m not a spring chicken any more 🤣) I’m still mowing and weed eating my lawn, but have to take it in steps now. Weed eat the front and sides, weed eat the back yard (much bigger with fence and shed) mow the front and sides, and mow the back. I usually spend a couple hours in my whirlpool bath tub after every section. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be able to do it but I haven’t hit that wall yet. I have to wear a back brace and knee braces for all of it. My daughter lives here and since she’s gone back to work I’ve taken back over the yard work. Her and her brother work 12 hour shifts 6 days a week. It’s all my son can do to keep his yard and the empty rental property next door mowed.

I am a senior citizen and own my own home as well and even though I never got a violation or warning from the city, was through no fault of theirs, God was just looking out for me. Got to take care of the mowers! Cut however works right for you. My elderly mother lived in Hot Springs, AR up to about 1 year from her passing from this life. Great job. I volunteer as part of a group of community gardeners who are tidying up and working on making our town centre better. I have spent many hours removing miles of ivy and bind weed that have taken hold over the years. Tiring but satisfying to remove. I wish in the UK we had a system of violations to ensure people tidied the front of their property. That way those that can would have to & others can help their neighbours. I, and my neighbour, do that in our street anyway. We have created a street garden area and keep the gutters and paths clear.

I'm totally amazed at your attention to detail, love all your videos! A tip on pampas grass..with a clump this full of dead blades, it's easier to cut it all down to 3 inches above ground level, it will come back healthier and more beautiful, of course you need home owners permission first, a weed wacker with the metal cutting blades will give a nice clean cut and not damage the plant. I cut mine down every two years this way to clean out the base. Keep up the good work and blessing those that need the help. God bless you both.

When I had my yard business I always used the weed eater 1st. I still do so I can cut away small areas the mower can't get. Then when I mow the bagger picks it all up. Love your videos .
