About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

The reveal to Megan was beautiful, seeing her reaction as it happened was the best thing! Myrtle looks amazing! You've done a brilliant job painting it! You can be proud of the van, looks good. Like you I wasn't sure about the colour however the white and green complement each other. Totally fits the vibe of the caravan reakon woulda been great if in the 70s they did this instead of just middle stripe! Brought life to the ol girl. Excited for yas. Curious cost at end of build. Lotsa ol cv in yards deteriating be gr8 to see people do this. Ive never seen any redone!🎉

Love the results. You have nailed it. The vents! YES consider a pressure system for your van. By what we have sean from others in Aussie outback dusty travellers vans will remain dust free when a air pressure systen ia used. No dust anywhere. Draws cabinets clothes etc. You will NOT regret the cost and effect. Checkout some other youtubers with vans.

Looks great guys. Keep your vent outside for the fridge but put a replaceable filter behind it. Also if you can put a couple small computer fans to circulate the air around the fridge with little solar panels on the roof.

Don’t block the fridge vent as when it gets hot the fridge needs to breath and don’t block all the vents as it is illegal for gas and ventilation
