To contribute to the goal line/ byline technology debate: An argument could be made to take a page out of the American sports book here. In American Football there are cameras in the pile-on to determine if someone crossed the goal line for a touchdown and in ice hockey, there are cameras in the goal that can see if the puck crossed the line completely. I feel like either a camera placed inside of the goal posts or in a back corner of the goal would work.

Okay i have to chime in on this as a rabid Star Wars fan. The order from best to worst is: Orginial, Prequels, Sequels. Now if you add the stand slone films it would be : Orginal, Rouge One, Prequels, Solo, Sequels. As for which one movie is the single best? Its a tossup between Revenge of the Situ and Empire Strikes Back. What alot of people who arent suoer fans forget is that most of the popularity and thus revenue for Star Wars came from the Legends category, which i do believe most people consider canon, including myself. So go get some of the old books and comics and have a joy ride! Okay, rant over, apologies gents 😅

VAR in soccer should be like baseball. There is a dedicated team offsite that makes unbiased decisions. That superceed the refs on the field. Their only job is to do the reviews.

For VAR to work quickly and efficiently like it does in the NFL they would need the hash marks at regular intervals (white lines)like NFL fields, they use those as reference points between multiple camera angles, but I know that traditionalists would cry even more.

I really dislike these crazy position changes. It’s 100% disconnected from real life footballer. The player is called “Casemiro”, but he has nothing to do with real life Casemiro. It’s just a made up player. It’s the same with all these cards with crazy stats without any relation with what’s happening in real life.
