Eh, the main things you really need to watch out for during pregnancy are retinol and maybe BHA, people get pretty intense about only natural products during pregnancy.

I have oily skin and I'm 43. The SuperGoop unseen sunscreen and the CC cream work really well for me. I always set with powder over my makeup and need to using these but that's everything for me. Also the Blistek medicated ointment in the white squeezey tube is a holy grail for me. I have extremely dry lips. Like chapped more often than not any lippie makes my lips lose an entire layer of skin no matter what, DRY. I put this on with an occlusive balm over top. Heals my lips overnight. The Amika anti humidity spray is a fave. I feel like the name does not describe it correctly. I live in a very dry climate. My hair is fine, thin, partly wavy, prone to frizz. This spray smooths my hair and tames fly away like nothing I've ever used!

It seems counterintuitive since there are usually towels in the ads and sometimes on the logo, but adding fabric softener or scent beads makes them less absorbent. It will cause a buildup, if you noticed your towels start feeling different you can do a vinegar wash to remove it.

Idk if someone else has mentioned this, but the gel moisturizers (like neutrogena hydro burst), you should apply them while your skin is still moist, then follow up with another moisturizer. They help your skin absorb moisture from what you put on top. They are (usually) not intended to be used alone. That can actually dry your skin out more. Maybe you’ll give one another shot in this way, it really helps retain moisture :)

I found out as an adult that Mr bubble which my mom used when we were little is actually not very good for a little girls personal parts. I guess they say it can cause bladder and yeast infections and very young little girls so I agree it smells awesome it gives great bubbles but be careful with that Mr bubble guy he's dangerous. My favorite thing is a little kid I don't know if you guys remember this or not or if Gigi would like it but I like those bath foam cans looks like a shaving cream can but the foam comes out a little stiffer and it's usually colored and it is actual soap so the kid gets clean while playing right I think it's actually a little safer as well but it does not give the bubble bath effect it's just foam you can write on the walls with you might know what I'm talking about so I'll shut up now Merry Christmas Jess I can't wait to see your new little girl.

Just curious because I've never heard an influencer say anything about Paula (of Paula's Choice) having an old book "Don't Go To The Makeup Counter Without Me". I read it-- Actually, I STUDIED it back in the late 70's or early 80's and it became my makeup Bible;) She saved me SO much money. She went in and broke down ingredients in high end versus drugstore and gave recommendations--for instance, I still remember today that she said never spend big money on pencil liners cause most back then were pretty much the same. I can remember her putting me on to Cetaphil (I think) I could go on and on but she did a fabulous job of what she set out to do. I know that there were updated versions of the book and not sure when the last copy was printed. Haven't even checked. I mean, if I had studied my textbooks like I did that little book I'd have been on the deans list. Just thought it was cool that she put her knowledge into these products that I hear many rave about. Thanks for what you do as well. Much appreciated the knowledge you share!

For a mask, in the middle of winter when it's super cold and you've had to be outside and your skin is just NOT happy and it's dry and hurty/burny, my favorite "mask" is to do my skincare routine with rosehip seed oil, and then put a thin layer of aquaphor over top all that. This is ofc best for back sleepers, but if you have an extra pillowcase that doesn't match anything, you can use it for that night. Don't do this more than 2x/week and ofc wash your face well in the morning, but it locks in moisture SO GOOD that your skin is glowing and dewy and HYDRATED!
