I have very oily, extremely fair skin with redness from rosacea and cystic acne. I have a job that requires 20+ hour work days and I can attest that Rimmel 25 hour lasting finish Foundation works like a gem on my skin! It is my go-to drugstore foundation. It matches my Holy Grail Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I swear by that stuff! If you need long-lasting, full coverage Foundation, that Rimmel with the red top is definitely the way to go!

Christinaanna5 the BH concealer is great. You only need a small amount for full coverage. If you use too much though, it gets crepey.

Ulta has the Flower Beauty blushes. They also have a few other Flower Beauty products coming. I’m glad to see both flower and milani at Ulta. Milani’s eyeshadow primer is my absolute favorite. I refuse to pay Pixie’s prices. Just too expensive for drugstore IMO.

The Physicians Formula contour matte trio is divine -- just hit pan on my first and the second waiting on sidelines. Their new foundation (The Healthy Foundation) has 16 shades. I am shocked -- apparently, someone is finally listening. I'd think they'd be stuck in North America and Nothern/Western Europe with their old choices. Sixteen shades still may be limiting but it's a start.

Great video Jess!! I have some thoughts to share regarding the Translucent Powders for you and others to read :) I think in the beauty world, it’s easy to use the terms translucent and transparent interchangeably; however, transparent “allows light to pass through so shapes are clearly visible” whereas translucent “allows light to pass through, but not defined shapes. i.e. semi-transparent”. So, in regards to makeup, a powder that is completely invisible and offers no coverage should be labelled as transparent, and Powders that offer a little coverage/pigment but are not full coverage should be labelled translucent. Then you have full coverage Powders which I would call Opaque. Sorry for the science essay haha I just wanted to share my thoughts because it’s something I’ve been wanting to share for ages haha xx

My all time favourite mascara is L'Oreal telescopic in the gold tube, but I always, always put a few drops of eye drops in in once it starts to feel dry, I may do that 3 times over the time I use that tube & it really does give you so much more use.

My favorite drugstore face powder is Rimmel's Stay Matte translucent powder; with a light hand, it makes my face so velvety pretty! I love it over a more illuminating foundation/primer combo. And I agree about the pure nude highlighter! It's actually a little bronze for my skin tone, but I used it for my sister's wedding makeup, and it LOOKED GORGEOUS!

Just a tidbit about sunscreen. There isn’t enough sun protection in any foundation to be your daily sunscreen. It’s not the number of spf in the foundation, it’s the fact that you don’t use enough of the product to reach that spf. Two people that can explain it well are Angie from Hot & Flashy and Wayne Goss also did a video explaining it. Jessica, if you don’t watch Angie you should. You would love her. Her reviews are like no other. She puts months, even years into a lot of her skin care videos. She’s soo knowledgeable and thorough. Her forte is skin care although she definitely does makeup too.

Not sure if anyone’s mentioned this or not but if you push back the lid on the PF Bronze Booster it will lock in place and it won’t lift the other piece up. You have to be slightly forceful with it at first but once I discovered that it locked it made it even more of a fave than it already was!

You need that physicians formula shimmering bronze booster. I use the gold and bronze colors as lid eyeshadows and they are better than most of my actual shadow shimmers! They are gorgeous on the eyes! And the highlighter is nice too

I use everyone of the foundation you love. I tried the ELF Flawless Finish after you recommended it and now it's my holy Grail and I just bought it for my friend . And it lasts on me 12 hours plus

I tried the Ulta Full Coverage Concealer on your recommendation and it's SO GOOD. I usually have a hard time finding drugstore concealers that are light enough so I took a chance on the lightest shade and it looked way too dark when first apply it but then it's perfect when I blend it out. It'll last a long time too because I barely have to use any product.

I'm SO glad that you mentioned the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink liquid lipsticks. I've seen positive reviews by Jeffree Star, but then Manny MUA did a "first impressions" on it, and immediately panned it because it's sticky at first. I actually left him a comment to give them another chance, as eventually it does dry down, but not so much as to where your lips are cracked and dry. (Well, I suppose it depends on the climate you live in, but at least where I'm at, things dry fairly quickly.) I can tell you that I prefer the Matte Ink over my Colorpop, Mac Retro Matte, and Stila. Sure, all of those are also very long-lasting, but often over-dry my lips, and especially the Colorpop cracks, or makes my lips crack.

Oh my word, those Maybelline Matte Inks are amazing! Usually when I wear a liquid lipstick, I can't stand the feel on my lips. I end up licking them, which moves the pigment around, and they're gone within an hour! But those! I wore one just yesterday, was licking and biting my lips like crazy (they were so chapped) and the color still looked literally PERFECT after 4 hours!

I should have looked before I commented. I hate that highlight. It looks terrible on me. Something about the tone is just sooo off, and I'm not super fair skinned either.

Me too. I am medium- brown Southeast asian so perhaps it's better suited for lighter complexion. The highlighter also brings out my skin textures

Bernice I’m Indian and I love that highlighter! My sister does not (she’s a little darker than me, I have lighter tan skin w warm tones) and she also says it emphasizes texture. I’ve never experienced that, but my face doesn’t have texture to begin with so I guess I’m not a reliable source on that front haha

That mascara flaked sooooo bad on me from day 1. My favorite from the drugstore is L’Oréal Carbon Black so I was hopeful but it did not work for me at all:/

Was it the waterproof version? I use the regular version and never have had any flaking. One tube lasts me two months of every day use.

No, I never buy waterproof and I see many, many others commenting under videos that they don't like it either. I think it's really bad and so do some of my friends. I don't have a clue how long it lasts because a couple of weeks was enough for me, especially when I saw so many other negative reviews and comments on you tube and other makeup sites, and reviews

The milani eyeliner does go all the way down... I know because I sharpened it all the way down because it’s so good!
