I sometimes steel myself before watching one of Jessica's videos when she's listing her favorites because I *know*, from past experience, that I'm going to end up buying something. However, now that I'm on the eve of retirement (13 more days!), I have more discretionary spending at my disposal than I did when I was a young mom with little ones. So yes .... it's nice to trust someone to steer us in the right direction when it comes to buying products. She's the best, in my opinion.

Holly Entler they get more ad revenue the more ads people watch during the video. I don’t know how exactly they get paid but ad revenue is a part of their income. If there’s a video I’m not as interested in, I’ll play it while I’m busy doing something else so I still am supporting someone’s channel that I like.

@@Sielska Yes, it comes off in little tubes with warm water that's higher than body temp. I never have to scrub my eyes anymore! Also, my sister once wore it when she ran a marathon and it stuck around. I did not, but that's because I don't run marathons.

I sooooo agree with you about the smaller eyeshadow palettes. I recently “Kon Marie’d” my makeup and only kept a few small eyeshadow palettes that I really use and enjoy. I don’t see myself buying anything over a 9 shade palette again. For one thing it’s just a waste in my case (bigger palettes) because I’m never going to use the whole thing. And a smaller palette is a lot less overwhelming for me. Easy, quick, and I don’t even have to think about what I want to do or feel like I SHOULD use the color I don’t even like because the palette cost me X amount of money...

Tubing mascaras are BOMB. I like Beauty Tubes like someone else mentioned, but my favorites are the Dinoplatz Eslacator and Touch in Sol Stretchex. Lash Power from Clinique is good, as is the Bobbi Brown tubing one. But my favorites are Escalator or Stretchex.

LOVE the Milk Makeup Bronzer in Baked as well! Protip- they make a mini version, so for those of us that don't wear makeup everyday and are worried about it going off/drying out, that's a good way to go for it. It is definitely more expensive per oz, but if anymore than that would be wasted anyways it's still better bang for your buck. They have the same mini size for their blush in Werk (and also now in the shade Perk) which I also highly recommend.

One thing that you taught me this year was to not be afraid to use *clean* fingers to apply bb creams. I use the Covergirl Clean Matte everyday mixed with a smidge of a concealer (also got that idea from you) and I feel like my skin looks healthier!! So thanks Jess! Elizabeth Mott It's So Big is a tubing mascara that you can buy on Amazon, its about $13. I love the Thrive one but too spendy. I usually only using the tubing mascara's for my bottom lashes and use Covergirl Exhibitionist on my top lashes, so the Elisabeth Mott one works great for lower lashes and half the cost of the Thrive one :)

It never flakes, holds curl, lasts all day, great length and volume....been using it faithfully for over 9 years. I did try the Essence mascara in your awards and I love it too. I had to go on a mission to find the Nivea blackberry lip balm but I finally found it at ulta and I love it so much!!! Loved it so much that I went back and bought the cherry lip balm as well which I love just as much!
