travel hack. save those little silica packets that come in new shoes etc. throw them in your toiletry bag and they will absorb any shower dampness that might be lingering on your shampoo/bodywash bottles.

For the travel bag, If you’re ever worried about skincare or spf going bad or expiring in between trips,…what’s helped me is continuing to use up the small decanted stuff when I get home, so that the containers are empty and ready for fresh skincare on the next trip - just an idea if you know you won’t use it up before the next trip :)

I am trying to be a better carry-on packer when we travel. I LOVE getting ideas from your videos to help me consolidate and be a more efficient packer. My daughters always called me a "what-if" packer. I would pack with the attitude of "what if it rains? What if it is hot? what if it is cool at night? what if I need my ______? what if I want my ______? what if someone else needs or wants a ________?" Your packing tips have allowed me to still be a bit of a "what-if" packer, but do it in a more organized and efficient way. Thanks!

Can confirm those whitening strips work! I usually will use them for 2-3 days before a big event and that helps me maintain the bright white. My dad is a dentist and always comments on how white my teeth are 😂

The bag is beautiful. What I do for everything I decant, leave everything out when I get home, leave everything out and use whatever is left and then I finish everything clean it and put it away for the next trip, that way nothing goes bad or expired.

Highly highly recommend searching for the Vera Bradley outlet online. The prices are amazing. You might not be able to get multiple items in the same pattern since it is the outlet, but the price & sales can’t be beat.

I’m going to Europe for the first time next year. I’m going to try really hard to go with a carry-on and a personal item without having to check anything. A video about minimal makeup for travel would be helpful! I’m experimenting with tiny makeup to see if I can shrink down my makeup bag. I think a travel size TirTir foundation, a tiny Ulta brand eye palette (that conveniently comes with an elastic band) and a small Ulta brand blush single are an okay start. I don’t want to take my nicer stuff and get mad when it shatters or explodes.

What I do is, I finish up using my products from the small travel size containers when I get home and clean them out when they’re empty so they’re ready to go for our next trip. Granted, I don’t travel as much as you do. But that way products aren’t sitting there for a super long time.
