Just a tip for sunburn: My grandmother always had us do this as kids as we have VERY fair skin. On the day you get your sunburn, after you shower (this is the key, it has to be your first shower post-sunburn), put some standard vinegar on a washcloth a pat it on the burn. You will NOT smell like vinegar (it goes away after a minute or two). The vinegar helps take the heat out of the burn and then it is easier to treat the color healing process. It works 9 times out of 10 (of course if you have a severe blistering burn, do not recommend)!

For a hand cream, I really like Weleda’s Skin Food. It’s dense but once it’s absorbed by the skin the effects last for a long time and you can’t feel the density anymore. Another good one is the L’occitane Karitè/Shea butter one..

Hi Jess! First, I SO appreciate you including your thoughts about the scents of products you are reviewing! As someone who is very sensitive to fragrance it is so helpful to know right off the bat if it’s a heavily scented product. Second, my hand cream recommendation is the Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Hand Cream. The scent is very mild, and it doesn’t leave your hands feeling greasy. It’s not glamours, but the price is right and I really enjoy it! It’s helped me put some moisture back into my hands since I’m washing them even more than normal now.

My favorite go-to hand cream is the Gold Bond hand cream. It’s a very light scent, goes on thick but dries quickly and doesn’t leave your hands feeling suffocated and sticky (which I hate in other hand creams). They claim that it even lasts after hand washing and I would agree. This stuff is the best.
@xlaughing4 жыл бұрын
I know you said you like the CeraVe Foot Cream for your hands but I love the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for hands, it sinks in and makes them soft but doesn’t leave your hands feeling greasy. ShiKai Borage Therapy Dry Skin Lotion is my favorite in the winter for my hands. It’s not heavy, and really soaks in pretty quick. I use to get rashes on my hands in the winter before I used it. Also, I use CeraVe Moisterizing Cream (buy the pump container and leave it in my shower), after I take a shower or wash my face. I don’t completely dry off and let some of the water stay on my skin. This helps seal in the moister. Great on legs as well. Sorry about all the comments.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents from your vlog question on dog treats. When my pupper an I started training, you're told to bring soft treats. I asked instructor for recommendations and was told not to buy dog treats, just use what you would eat. For 10 years I've used cheese, turkey hot dogs (slightly overcooked in microwave) and cheerios. It's a treat, not their main diet. I've also learned the size I would give for a treat is about 10x the size it should be. For example, for the hot dog, I cut it into slices like you would for a small child, but really thin, then cut that in quarters. Doggies like the act of getting the treat almost more than the treat itself, so giving a few tiny bites and they think they've hit the jackpot. And, there is allllllways cheese in my house🧀😁.

I’m a nurse so my hands are terribly dry all the time. The hand cream I highly recommend is the Cera Ve skin moisturizer (not the cream which is thinner). It is thick and my skin feels so soft and silky after I use it. My entire clinic is hooked on it now. It’s great stuff!! Also, for a dry shampoo, watch Zabrena’s video she just put out. She highly recommended a new dry shampoo by Pantene. I’m going to give it a try.

Best dry shampoo I've tried: "Not Your Mother's, Clean Freak". It's like $5 on Amazon and AMAZING!!! They have an unscented version which is great, and I've also tried one with the scent of "tapioca" and omg it's the most heavenly smelling thing. I'm not usually a fan of sweet smells, but if you want to legitimately smell like a fresh baked sugar cookie, you'd love the scent. They have a bunch of other scents too.

Yes! This is my favorite one, as well! I get it at Target, and you can find it on sale a lot there. I like the Original scent. Very fresh smelling, and my hair loves it. I have dark hair and I can blend it in enough that you can't see it. 👌

It didn't work for me...had to throw away. I love their All Eyes on Me though.

The Margot Elena Shea butter hand creams are beautiful. Not greasy, scent lasts a long time, and very soothing.

The cerave moisturizing cream comes in a tube now and not just in a big ole tub - it’s my go-to for hand cream!! AND I LOVE dove dry shampoos they’re so so good!! Love your channel ♥️

Dove's dry shampoo is the absolute best!! My favorite is the volumizing one, it smells sooo good. You can get a big ass bottle at walmart for like 5 bucks!

I have contact dermatitis so I always need a hood hand cream. I use the Atrixo Intensive Protection Cream. It absorbs super fast with no residue, really really hydrates the skin and if you wash you hands it still leaves a protective layer on the skin. It’s in a green tub rather than a tube and it only costs around £5 and lasts forever. If my hands are screaming this is the only thing that soothes and heals them pretty fast.

Big warm hello from Tasmania, Australia 🌏🐨. I love your channel and content so much & I appreciate how honest and so genuine you are! Firstly, you must try the ogx refresh & renew + argan oil dry shampoo! It literally absorbs the oil and leaves no white cast! I repeat.. No white cast! It also has a nice scent not to mention it's very affordable and performs way better than so many high end dry shampoos I've tried. Also, a notable mention is the O&M (OriginalMineral) Desert Dry Volumising Texture Spray, this stuff is absolute magic but it aint cheap. The up side though is that a little goes a long way so you really dont need to use much of it at all, a 300ml (7.8oz) can has lasted me 6 months and I still haven't used it up so with that said I think its great value. The scent of this one it honestly one of the most intoxicating smells my nose has experienced and your hair will smell incredible until you wash it, I can't recommend it highly enough but keep in mind that it is a texturising/ volumising formula so it feels a bit gritty to the touch. Next, hand cream.. I love love love Jurilique rose hand cream, it's just so so good. Again, this ones not cheap but you only need a pea sized amount so it does last a while. There are a few other good hand creams out there but nothing beats it in my opinion, I just can't appreciate other hand crams as much as this one, Jurilique have seriously set the bar. Finally, I would love to request a video whith the DL on serums! & Anti aging skin care in general. I feel like this is such a flooded market with a lot of gimmicks and duds & I have wasted thousands $$ on expensive products that seem to do nothing. I dont mind paying any price in this category but it has to deliver on claims and wash my car! Which products play well together? Which dont? Are they all necessary? So many questions! Anyway, I'm sooo sorry for the ridiculously long message I truly am if theres an alternative prefered platform for these type of discussions let me know ☺😅❤

For dry hands I love the First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream. I put it everywhere but will keep a small tube in my purse and near the sink to use for hands specifically too.

The best hand cream I’ve ever tried is the Ahava Mineral Body Lotion. Can’t recommend it enough! Also would love a Paulas Choice video. Their Extra Care Non Greasy Sunscreen, spf 50 is my go to. Edit: Ahava has lots of sales, so wait for one of those

I use quite a few Paula's Choice products. I do love the tinted sunscreen but I hate when you get to the end. Lots of product gets wasted unless you cut the packaging to get the rest. And then you're meant to shake it and when you are scraping out the rest of the product, it is not mixed.

My absolute favorite dry shampoo is the Kristin Ess dry shampoo! $14 from Target and lovely packaging. She has a brunette option but I prefer the original!

I LOVE the Lush dry shampoo! It's perfect if what you want is JUST to absorb oil and not to texturize hair in any way. I find a lot of dry shampoos are also good as hair powders, but that's not always what I want. Even with dark hair I find it doesn't leave too much of a white powdery look, as long as you scruff it in really well. I have the big bottle now but the small one is pretty cheap and lasts for months even if you use it daily.

For hand cream: I like soap and glory, but I like the Eucrin as well. My hands get really dry, and the Eucrin doesn’t make them feel greasy!

Batiste came out with a new waterless cleansing foam that I love for dry shampoo! It is so odd to use at first, but it really does make your hair feel clean, doesn't leave a powdery feeling, and leaves no white cast! I found it at Target.

The Lush No Drought dry shampoo is good!! It’s like 10 bucks for the small bottle but it lasts forever! I’ve had it for probably a year and I use dry shampoo probably every other day as well. It’s a powder and not an aerosol but it’s really good! It also doesn’t have a strong scent so it doesn’t make your hair smell weird when it mixes with your oils. Just make sure to rub it in really well because it is a white powder.

Cerave is the bomb.com. The moisturizing cream in the tub is amazing. But now I’m inspires to try the PM. PS I can’t stop staring at your curls!!

Jocelyn Sloan the PM is lighter and has niacinamide along with the ceramides. I use it every night.

I know you mentioned not buying the cerave pm for a while but when you do, I'd suggest mixing 2 pumps of that with 4 drops of the ordinary's rosehip oil. It's truly a magical combo

Yes! Definitely Paula's Choice. I started my skin care education years ago when she published a newsletter called 'Cosmetics Cop' (I'm showing my age). I have been a fan of (mostly) her Resist products, and the Omega moisturizer. Recently I started using the Clear Pore Normalizing Cleanser to deal with aging enlarged and clogged pores. Definitely helps. (Also the Cosrx BHA Low pH Overnight Mask.) I also want to second Sasha Gibson comment of the O'Keefe's products. Hands or feet, they are the best!!
