@T4 Tips & Guides quite surprised myself, but we've all made mistakes when using new equipment. To be honest, I actually think it's a genius move from Joel, Karcher will view this school boy error, (deliberate or not) and will panic thinking they'll have to pay for respray jobs so they'll send out a nice new Karcher k7 pressure washer to Joel with all the car nozzles so he can demonstrate how to safely use a Karcher on your paint 🤣

I’ve never used a pressure washer on any of my cars, and I’ve been driving for 20 years now. Apart from the fact that all of my cars have been 10+ years old, I don’t like them as the high pressure can get into your lights and cause shorting/electrical issues, and potentially damage window rubbers etc. I just never let my car get too dirty, so a normal wash with a bucket of water/car shampoo , and hose pipe/watering can to rinse off, is all that’s ever needed.
@jimhutton43522 жыл бұрын
Oh my word Joel!! You shouldn’t really use the dirt blaster lance on your car! It’s so powerful it could do serious damage if there’s flaking paint or any corrosion.

Using the dirt blaster on a car is really not recommended by Karcher, it’s for hard surfaces such as paving slabs. It will strip the paint. A K4 or K5 using the dirt blaster would strip the paint for sure. The concentration dial even using Karchers snow foam will produce a decent foam but try Autofinesse Avalanche. It’s a proper snow foam. I hope you are happy with the results though.

Anyway best of luck with the channel I'll be watching
@mixdiver2 жыл бұрын
I really like your content Joel however you need a lesson or two about pressure washers Kartcher build their pressure washers to a budget and they really do not stand up to continuous use for any length of time. I would highly suggest you invest some money in a decent professional washer like a Cleanwell they will last a lifetime where as the K2 will be good for around 100 hours if you are lucky. I know from experience and went through 6 of the yellow beasts before the penny dropped! - I was wasting my money and I invested in a decent machine. I know that the initial outlay is considerably more but parts are replaceable on a Cleanwell unlike a Kartcher which is basically disposable at the k2 level. When your unit breaks (which it will) it will only be fit for landfill, this is a criminal waste. Kartcher offer no spare parts for the K2 internally - if you don’t believe me check it out. If you want the best buy a British made Cleanwell pressure washer (and no I am not sponsored by them) just a very happy customer! Even the German army use them which is odd as Kartcher is a German product and their army think we make a better pressure washer here in the UK.
