Have you tried heating up your lash curler?? Ever so slightly with a blow dryer. It’s kind of like curling you hair, the heat makes it curl and stay curled for longer. So helpful for lashes that stick straight out!

i bought this mascara on a whim, and i love it!!!! i was surprised by how black and buildable and volumizing this mascara was. I stopped curling my lashes and just let the mascara do the work, and it definitely does!

Judy you need to try maybelline full n soft mascara! It’s literally the best and really similar! It doesn’t clump as badly as this one and looks natural but better! I absolutely love it! I’ve been using it for over 7 years! I also have short Asian lashes that stick straight down!

I learned a trick from a fellow KZbinr she recommends when bringing the wand up before letting go to hold it for a few seconds with a curling motion. Hope this helps.

O wauw it looks pretty! I am so glad you started reviewing make-up again :) It's so much fun to watch. And if you ever look for a good mascara: try the Maybelline the rocket volum' express (it's a blue packaging with a bright pink font). It is my holy grail mascara for several years and I even stopped trying other brands because this one does everything for me! It gives my lashes volume and it seperates them perfectly. Thereby it's not waterproof (they have a waterproof version but I believe that waterproof mascara only damages your lashes) but it can stand some rain :)

Have you tried the lash princess by essence? I have very similar lashes to yours and the lash princess honestly makes them Look like false lashes. It’s insane! Best part is it’s only $5. Love all your reviews and your adorable little family!

Hi Judy, I am another woman of Asian descent and my sparse lashes are so straight they point down. This mascara in waterproof version is natural looking, not spidery at all. Best of all, by the end of the day I don't have smudges or eye irritation. You probably already thought of this, but I've found that any mascara that has a significant amount of water in it will uncurl your lashes, just as if you'd applied water to hair you've curled.

Judy, have you tried Essence Lash Princess mascara? I think it would work on your lashes. I always let it dry a bit and gently re-curl them, and they stay curled all day. I don't lose lashes if I'm careful when I re-curl.

I just tried this for the first time and I have longer lashes. I was curious to see what others thought of it as well since the only person I asked was the lady that worked at NYX. Anyways! I don't know about the longevity of it yet since I just put it on, but right now, it's awesome. My lashes are longer and they actually look like I have makeup on them! I had bought the NYX Stacked mascara and I couldn't hardly even tell I had any mascara on (NO FUN!!!) so I bought this in hopes it would help and it definitely did!!! So far so good!! :D
