hey gavin :) heads up, there is a resistance lock when you are drilling the holes for the hood pins, and there is a drill mode that prevents that but from stopping

It’s a torque setting in the chaulk. It’s used for driving screws to prevent stripping the head of screws or overdriving screws in wood. Drill setting has no torque limit, it goes to max of what the drill allows.

Also if you ever need to drill bigger hole with a hole saw bit. Put the smaller previous used bit inside of the bigger bit and you can use that as your "pilot" to stay center for the new bigger hole

The best way ive seen to do hood pins is the sharpened bolt put in the spot of the hoodpin mounting spot and using the spike to act like a center punch for marking the hood.

i always find something to use to test fit when cutting holes. ive learned u dont know how its going to turn out or work til u try it an if its something u've never done then its worth using something as a test piece to make sure its going to fit good especially in this case with it being as rare of a hood an color as u said.

I’d love to see you Mod the Shelby to handle better on track. They are pretty well setup in stock form. Just the built motor and twin turbo definitely changed the balance of the car. But I’d love to see it be a roll race and track car monster.

Its Interesting to see this. I was just talking about getting pins on my Hennessey GT350R...so much hood lift. Under my Hood, right behind the facia is actually precut plastic "bits" where the GT500 bottom pins would go. cool to see the difference between mine and yours and how they changed some things.

Heads up, PMAS sells an angled throttle body coupler for the 18+ models made so that the intake pipe won’t hit the hood. I’d try that!

I love the videos Gavin! So excited to see Lucifer get up to 200 mph. I am a little sad though because I had the rose sweatshirt with the cursive don’t lose sight and someone stole it out of my car. I am a college student so my funds are small but I used what I have to get it, sadly they’re not on the store anymore and it was my favorite sweatshirt. When you need to enlarge a hole saw hole, you can thread the small size holesaw in the bigger size that way it will pilot your bigger hole.

The Side Marker Deflector are for when your parked in a T- Intersection, or Dark Forest or Desert roads there's no way driver's would see it Should leave at stock form. In California that would be illegal
