I don't really mind the limited exploration of this game. There are plenty of games with more than enough exploration as it is. Having a game that is as straightforward as 16 is a nice change of pace. As for the crafting, it would be cool to outfit more than just Clive. Another thing you could do with it is have the stats of the weapons and gear that you create be determined by the materials that you use, kind of like Dragon Age Inquisition. Maybe have the ability to add special effects to your gear. I have a hatred of QTEs, they are not good nor have they ever been good. I don't know why we are still doing them but I want them to go away. They add nothing to the experience except pain in your hands from button mashing. They are supposed to help you be more immersed in the action (as if I wasn't already) but really you are more focused on mashing buttons at the right time so that you can progress rather than focusing on what is happening in the scene. I would rather just watch a cutscene and appreciate what is happening rather than spamming buttons to the point that my hands hurt. So I clearly hate the QTEs in this game. The only way I would find it acceptable is if you had the ability to set auto-complete in the settings or just disable them completely. Some games allow you to do that and it is an option that I always appreciate.

I completely agree. The only way they are acceptable is when you have the option to turn them off. But, even then, it seems like wasted programming for no reason. I would be fine with (and would prefer) watching cutscenes instead.
