Imagine some of the FF6 events in a movie. The walk of the magitek through snow as the intro scene on the way to Narshe, the awesome submersible castle, Ultros breaking the 4th wall, Shadow's introduction (Like Aragon's in LOTR, scary dude at the Inn's pub with that twangy theme). I love the character introduction scenes where the screen goes black and a few lines of exposition about each character are displayed, playing it now and it's a really cool effect signifying the main/important/controllable characters.

If you like how the Opera scene looks, have I got news for you! Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 both look just like that except probably even better! ;)

As someone who didn't see the Rebirth streams live, I've genuinely curious to learn more of your thoughts of why you didn't like the game. Whilst I really did enjoy Rebirth, I'm one of those odd people who actually preferred Remake, so I do understand the feeling that your opinions are 'against the grain' or different to the majority. IMO this is the best in 10 years ironically; CW being the only one I enjoyed during the beta aswell. And tbh I’d say more people should give this game a chance as it’s from treyarch not infinity ward and by next year the community we will be fed sour grapes quality levels of games with ridiculously massive maps promoting only Warzone which really needs a change by now it’s 5 years old either scrap it or change it; it’s not as popular as it once one that crown now seems to fall to R6 Siege and Overwatch. I share a similar experience, i got into cod late, i started at advanced warfare & between that and bo3 i was hooked, but then it fell off with iw mp and ww2, i thought Bo4 would save the day but it was pretty bad, i played some cold war and it's okay & haven't gotten a new cod since

I haven't played COD since BO3 so i thought I'd jump into the BO6 beta and see what it was like nowadays. I was terrible. I used to be fairly decent back in the day but it's been a long while, I was lucky in my first few games to come out with 1 kill and under 10 deaths. After a while I started to get the hang of it again and it was fairly fun but there's no way I'd be able to play as much as I did when I was younger. I was always more of a zombies guy, and BO3 zombies was excellent, the new one looks...not for me. I probably wont buy BO6 but it was fun to dip my toe back in, for nostalgia sake.

I’ve never played a COD game before besides Warzone, but started playing this because it’s on game pass, and I’m having a lot of fun. I’m doing pretty well in the leaderboards too and I don’t have too many problems with it. It seems the people who buy COD every year (people I know included) have the most problems with it and people who haven’t played COD ever or in a while are enjoying it.

I just refuse to pick up a black ops game simply because black ops 2 SHOULDVE been the end, and their future depiction IS what the future on bo3 SHOULD HAVE been. But no, they went TOOOO FAR, and screwing over the original va's by not having them return for cold War when the frank woods va clearly said he'd come back. Plus, black ops just doesn't appeal to me anymore
