The mini cooper (normal at least) is actually made to be affordable, that was the original point, a brand new Mini Cooper 2019 is on average only $20k, which is more than $10k cheaper than the average new car. If that is too much for you, which is understandable, you can get one used, anything 2013-14 and older is (usually) at most $8000-9000 and the even older models (2008 and older) can be as little as $3000! Hopefully this makes you less bummed about getting a Mini.

Elierbster These mini’s are affordable when they are used because they are not known to be very reliable so they are expensive to maintain out of warranty. If you actually go to a mini lot(which I have done a lot of lately because I’m shopping for one of these for my daughter) you will see that for a new one you would need a big discount off of MSRP from the most basic mini to end up at $20k. .The “average” one of these is selling in the $28-$32k range. The one this girl is showing is top of the line.

Convertibles look cool but aren’t reliable at all. The car is super cute and it looks so nice with the top off! Saying this as I do have a convertible myself (not an expensive one and it’s my mums) and they’re super fun to drive around in but having a soft top isn’t reliable at all! I feel as though you can’t leave the car parked anywhere (with the roof on). Just my thoughts aha. Love mini coopers!

despite their size, mini coopers are actually very safe. if you ever watch any crash test videos of them you can clearly see that even after a very intense and horrible crash the main cabin part stays the same shape. in other words it doesn't crunch at all which is very impressive and is a good thing for the people inside the car.

Congrats WLC to the MINI fam! But that is not 2018 anyway still a lovely car :D. Bought my JCW for 56K USD with all the options and extras can't be happier. it's funny tho when you guys talk about the mini jcw and compare it with st or a gti lol YASS it starts at 31 something BUT with a little extra option it goes up to 50
