I want a mini I always have, I want it for myself😬 not for other people to be in my car. Like if you cant fit not my problem like I'll buy it for myself not for others. I am saving atm, work full time. I'm still researching and wanting advice on it tbh.

Yes, 100% agree! A car is something very personal thus it should suit your needs before anyone else's. I hope this video was somewhat helpful to you and you can lmk if you have any questions!

Agreed you worked really hard. But I think there’s a lot unsaid as far as somebody can work just as hard and not be able to achieve the same goal because their starting point was not the same. I am a teacher and a lot of my kids have jobs to help their parents with living expenses and cannot save. Your advice is good for a person in similar situation where a parent was able to save, and provide a bit more than the basic food and shelter. Good advice for someone in a solid middle to upper middle class. Canada also has better social safety nets.

I also have a mini. 2015 Mini Cooper. First I’d like to correct you on one of your statements. That thing between the front seats is called an armrest. And usually the glovebox is in front of the passenger knees. My 2 door mini has 3 cup holders in the back, 1 in the middle and 1 on each sides. And about the suspension, the reason why it’s so shaky might be your tires, unless you mean the suspension feels stiff on bumps. But overall mini’s are fun. Congratulations and welcome to the mini world.
@karenyu99324 жыл бұрын
Omg yes, it is an armrest 😅 sorry about that! It’s so cool that you have 3 cup holders! I’m jealous 😂.

As for cons, you should have put in MAINTENANCE COSTS. Owner of a 2015 f55 mini cooper, taking it to the dealer is a leg and an arm. A brake job can you run you almost 600 us dollars, and an oil change runs you 70 us dollars which I believe is about maybe 90 CAD? Idk if you took that in mind or not, but factoring in maintenance costs, repair costs and service intervals as part of determining which car you should buy is important. A kid could buy a used Mercedes, because of the looks and the brand, but be drowned in debt, and since mercedes isnt known for reliability, they could be having to constantly pay for repairs, just throwing that out there, but congrats that you were able to boy yourself a nice car at 19. Same her 18 year old, bought a mini cooper 5 door at 17 with help of parents, runs like a dream
@karenyu99324 жыл бұрын
Pop You’re totally right, Maintenance fees are going to be a pain in the future once my factory warranty is over. I’m still getting oil changes for free as if now. It’s so cool that mini coopers are a lot of people’s first choice when it comes to cars :).

as someone who is almost 17 and doesn’t know how to drive yet. this. this is the car i want soon when i can be ready to get my own car. i even figured out today that i can afford it by paying a down payment of $1000-2600 and just pay about $320+ each month. i feel like hopefully this is the right path of how to pay for it. i work and i make about $400+ each month. i know that the monthly payment is about that much and would be stressful to me and i can rly buy other things. but honestly i want to get buying a car out of the way and i can get a second job! i have always wanted a mini cooper omg it’s so gorgeous im in love with this car!!

My 2015 Mini doesn‘t even have a glovebox in the middle. I mean I love this car ... alot but a little more storage would be nice 😂 I didn‘t think about that point back when I got the car 😅

in the uk we have 3 glove compartments, 1 underneath the front passenger, 1 on the dash, and 1 in the armrest so I don't know if Canadian or US models are different or it might depend on the age of ur Mini Cooper as mine is a 2014 facelift model but I know that the newer models from 2016 in the UK have gotten rid of the glove compartment on the dash also it might be because ur steering wheel is on the left and not the right as you drive on the right hand side of the road and we drive on the left x

I have a 2015 F55 just like yours except it’s all black. With a small car it is to be expected to have less space and more movement when hitting bumps but my passengers never complain. My cousins are all at least 6ft. And have no problem riding in my car. Yes it’s a tight squeeze but it’s also a small car. I’ve taken mine on many trips including to FL and my passengers never complain. :) I LOVE my mini and I wouldn’t trade her for the world! I also get annoyed that there are only 3 cup holders 😂 Are you going to keep yours?
@karenyu99324 жыл бұрын
My friend has an all black one and it’s super cute!! Yeah, even though the car itself isn’t very high, the seats do tend to hug the person in so it makes it better 😂. I’m debating between a Mini Cooper and an Audi. My mom agreed to co-sign for a car so I can give my brother my current car but I need to save a lot of money. I have a part time job and have to finish school before I can do full time so it will probably be a couple years before I can afford it but I really appreciate the information you give in this video, I’m leaning more towards the Mini Cooper.
