Bro, that's seventy thousand of fans from teens to grandparents, and every f'n one should get a paycheck for the performance they put on. These boys sold out this stadium three nights in a row for over two hundred thousand tickes sold. That's a nice house and a few cars each.

AC/DC itself stands for alternating current/ direct current (the standard within electricity), but the band name itself is literally just based on the tag you sometimes saw on electrical equipment. Specifically the "AC/DC" that was printed on the electrical plug of the sewing machine that the guitarists' sister used to make angus' school boy outfits

I saw this tour. Saw them in Orlando in December 2008 and Tampa in November 2009. They opened the show with this song which was off their new album at that time. I have seen them 7 times starting in 1982 and ending in 09. Always a fn great show. I must say the Argentinians are unbeatable in their passion for the music and the band.

Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸

This is 100% pure live Rock n Roll at his best....such energy, such electricity, such merging between band and crow, only rock can achieve this, there is no other style or genre that can replicate it. Shithole reggaeton and other actual overbearing latin rhyms concerts are a joke compared to what a live rock show can offer when everything flows like in this video. PD: it helps a lot that crow comes from Argentina, hand downs the best and hottest rock/metal audience in the world, there are too many examples showing it.

I'm from argentina, I was in that concert (just one of the three days), I lost my left shoe in the second song jumping in the pogo (mosh?). Never forget that day. I didn't take my phone with me... you can lose it very easy (or been robbed). Argentina is Rock and Roll. You have to be in the concert (recital?) to understand it. You don't go just to enjoy the band and the songs, you go there to show devotion, to deliver your energy to the band, to vibe with the ambient.... idk, its hard to explain.

AC/DC was formed in Australia around 1973 by guitarist brothers Angus Young (lead guitar) and Malcolm Young (rhythm guitar)... the name came off the label on their sister Margaret's sowing machine - 'AC/DC' short for "alternating current/ direct current"... However, a cabbie told them that 'AC/DC' was a bisexual connotation 😂😂 Years later, when AC/DC became the target of the religious right and church groups, they claimed their name stood for "anti christian devil's children" 😈 The 'River Plate' show in Argentina was a major show filmed for a DVD during the 'Black ice' tour in 2008 - '10... Sadly, it was Malcolm Young's final tour w/ AC/DC... he was diagnosed w/ dementia and had to retire in 2013. Malcolm Young passed away in 2017 (R.I.P.) ... their nephew Stevie Young replaced Malcolm on rhythm guitar. The band in this video was the classic AC/DC line-up that had recorded the 'Back in black' album in 1980, which had made them superstars and has sold 25 million copies in the US alone... Angus Young (lead guitar), Malcolm Young (rhythm guitar), Brian Johnson (vocals), Cliff Williams (bass) and Phil Rudd (drums). AC/DC began as a local rock band in the Sydney local scene in 1973... they went through a few members before vocalist Bon Scott joined the band in 1974, and they recorded their first album. Phil Rudd (drums) joined in 1975... AC/DC was signed internationally in 1976 and began playing Europe and the UK, then came to North America in 1977... Cliff Williams (bass) joined in '77. After a few albums, AC/DC finally scored a gold-selling (half million copies in US) record in 1979 titled 'Highway to hell'... Tragically, their vocalist Bon Scott passed away in early 1980 after a night of heavy drinking. A devastated AC/DC opted to carry on, and they eventually hired singer Brian Johnson in 1980 and recorded the album 'Back in Black, which would sell over 10 million copies by 1981 in the US alone. Drummer Phil Rudd was fired in 1983, but he returned to AC/DC in 1995. After Malcolm Young retired, AC/DC released the album 'Rock or bust' in 2014... Phil Rudd was arrested in New Zealand, so the tour was done w/ a prior AC/DC drummer Chris Slade... On the 2015 - '16 tour, Brian Johnson was struggling w/ hearing issues... so Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose sang on the last AC/DC tour dates in 2016. Since Malcolm Young passed away in 2017, AC/DC recorded the album 'Power up' and released it in 2020 w/ Phil Rudd back on drums, Brian Johnson on vocals, and Cliff Williams on bass... but the band's future is uncertain at the moment, and AC/DC have yet to play concerts since 2016. Brian Johnson recently appeared on stage at the tribute concert for the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022.

I love Brian Johnson but there's it's not even like I like him more if you know what I mean it's just like a hair that hair and head hair more Bon Scott just more gritty I don't know more gritty grimy dirty the fight you know his bond was there for the fight Brian got to come in and and ride it out at the peak and had to keep it at the peak so he had it easier in some ways but exponentially harder and and you know maintaining if you will the popularity the love I don't know if anything I said made sense hahaha I hope so have a wonderful day

Marqus let me help you out bud. Brian Johnson and Bon Scott optimize the unique voices in the world of rock and metal. They may not have the talent of Rob Halford, Geoff Tate, Dio or Klaus Meine to name a few but they were absolutely necessary for the success of the music If you want to know who else falls in this line you can check out Udo Dirkschneider of ACCEPT and perhaps the king of the unique voice Ozzy. If you check out accept you can give midnight mover, restless and wild or London leather boys a listen. It’s a love it or hate it voice that takes time to get used to.
