The RC8 and the RC8R are great looking bikes and made for the track but get left behind by modern liter bikes.

@@big_mon1i did check your resume, & your full of shit 💩 Everyone has “everything” in KZbin comments, If you really owned those bikes, You wouldn’t be calling them “ Leader” bikes 😅 Someone who spends $80,000 on 4 motorcycles, knows motorcycles….

@@big_mon1 I think his point is that it's "Liter Bikes"......not Leader. Liter....as in 1000cc capacity equals a liter.

For a track focused bike I'd say it's pretty impressive. It does have larger displacement tho and less power but it's torque for the track. (I know the other bikes are track purpose but the ktm is solely track oriented)

Yes I would definitely use this bike only for track. It’s not much of a road bike. I had a blast at the track when I took it!

There is no comparison in these bikes. The RC8R is the BIG DOG!! From a 60+ MPH roll and taking all the skill out of it, the big inline 4's are going to win every time. From a dig, or on a track it is going to the rider all day long!! But good luck finding one of these RC8's. They have always been few and far between, but you can't hardly find one anymore. I have yet to see one on the road where I live, except mine of course.

Yeah mine and butter guy in my neighborhood were the only guys in town with one. I ended up selling mine for a Ducati. lol

When you tune the RC 8 it becomes a god bike ! Over 200 hp and over 100fp of torque. They kill just about anything!

@@John-j8g I would love to have it tuned, but these kids at the KTM dealership here haven’t a clue about that bike and I don’t know anyone else that does 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hey. Great video. I juts picked up a 2013 rc8r. Totally stock. Gonna do some mods. Exhaust and tune. Maybe the rhino air box and block off plates as well Any advice or thoughts. Thanks

Congrats! Such a unique bike for sure! I never got mine tuned just because it was hard to find a company that had a flash for it. I guess I could’ve dyno tuned it.

@itsmeericb ok cool. 👍 it's a great bike. I have as my 2nd. Picked up a 24 H2 this past summer. I found a few online tune places either hand held or ecu flash. Will do my homework before I road it in the spring. Bike season just about done here in Canada. I'm sure the bike is great as is. I will get a can at least. That's stock sound is a Lil to quiet for me lol.

you are in low rpm , and the rpms in the r1 are higher that why it bumps forward when they accelerate , keep it in higher revs you'll win for sure

@@gaurrravvv no rc is beating 4 cylinder when come to drag....even 1290 beats rc 8 and r1 beats 1290 with low diff....only they beat r1 is in initial

Ese rc8 se queda corto pero es entendible las nuevas bicicletas son mas potetntes y traen mas tecnología esperemos que ktm saque un 1290 pero deportivo saludos
