You could have joined in this review the KYT NF-R and KYT Striker series. These are the Sport Touring helmets of KYT alongside the R2R. The NX-Race and NZ-Race are actually a step up from the NF-R series Sport Touring helmet. ✌

I tow a 3,000 lb (boat + trailer) on a weekend basis during the summer without issue. 1.5 hours each way. That's with 2 to 3 people in the santa cruz as well. 23' SEL AWD non-turbo. Ive towed it 2+ hours no issues. Going to do a 600+ mile trip this next summer from PA to TN.

If you wanted to get the best overall long term value, would you go with this or the pista?
@itsmeericb7 күн бұрын
I’ve had two pistas in the past and to be honest for as much as it cost you aren’t getting any better in quality. The KYT is cheaper and just as good but both KYT and AGV are good helmets. Really up to you on how much you want to spend or the style you want.
@DontBlink_DZ6 күн бұрын
@@itsmeericbappreciate you taking the time you reply back. Tbh, I originally avoided getting the pista since everyone seems to have it. I’m honestly really impressed by all the reviews and the actual engineering behind the helmet and brand. Definitely will be getting one real soon, already bought two lids this year alone 🤦🏾♂️👀

Hi Nice video, very well explained. Only one question from my side, how did you manage the chain cover? I tried to install it but it stange that if I install the engine cover over the chain cover, the engine cover is not really close from the engine and properly tighten. Any idea? By the way, RS660 2k3
@itsmeericb9 күн бұрын
Not quite sure I understand what you are trying to do? You shouldn’t have to touch the chain cover for this install. Unless you are saying there is a GB racing chain cover. If so I have not installed that on mine.

Looks crazy slow compared to my old r6. They should have called it an r5 or r4.
@itsmeericb9 күн бұрын
Good looking bike but obviously not as fast as an R6. It wasn’t built to be like an R6 though. I do agree they should have called it something else.

I've owned older GSXRs, ZXRs and an RSV. Now I'm struggling to decide whether I want a S1000RR, a GSXR1000R or an RSVR4 next, mostly as a daily driver with the occasional track day
@itsmeericb6 күн бұрын
For a daily and occasional track day I’d say S1000RR or the GSXR. The Aprilia isn’t bad either but probably not as comfortable as the other two for a taller rider on the street.

An R1M is actually 7 lbs. heavier than a GSXR1000, 450 wet for the Yamaha and 443 for the Suzuki. The steering geometry, and rake and trail is what probably makes the Suzuki feel heavier than an R1. Most of the liter bikes are within 20 lbs of each other. R1's do flick side to side with less effort in my opinion.

As an inexperienced cyclist who hopes to start riding one day, how am I supposed to brake properly with only the front brake? This doesn’t seem safe or ethical.
@itsmeericb12 күн бұрын
Majority of your braking is done with the front brake. Only 20-30% comes from the rear. If you brake too much in the rear it will just lock up and slide. On track you really don't use the rear brake at all until you become more advanced and you can then use it to back into a turn. Meaning you sort of drift.
@dusandjordjevic70112 күн бұрын
@itsmeericb thanks brother! This clear things up 😁

@@joshmansfield9706 I think I wouldn’t be too bad and you have some motorcycle experience when I comes to handling and throttle. It wouldn’t be a handful and you wouldn’t have a need to upgrade right away like you would if you got a 400cc.

@simonsmotocat277423 күн бұрын
They don't throw it into GSXR1000 because it's a basically discontinued model. It's not sold anywhere except Northern America since it doesn't meet Euro 5 emission standart and will probably never be updated to meet since Suzuki moved away from racing and race derived bikes doesn't make any sence for them anymore.
