Track Day with the Aprilia RS660 at Jennings GP

Awesome day at the track and I must say the RS660 performed very well! I would love to get this bike back on the track again hopefully with a tune. If you are looking to get an RS660 for track purposes this is it! Not the fastest bike in terms of huge power straight line, but the bike handles well in the corners. Also let ‪@SALTxTHExWOUND‬ take it for a spin!

Love your videos! Was great to meet you and your friends! My old 06' SV650 race bike was awesome, folks don't need to speed a lot of money to have fun on track days. Had my Triumph triple with me as a backup

I'm getting an RS660 in 2 weeks-- ordered a 2024 Acid Gold. Was going back and forth on it and another bike due to concerns the RS would be with leaks and other gremlins but seems most people have good experience with them so pulled the trigger. Spec sheet wise can't get any better for a Middleweight--- already ordered several grand in mods lol incl suspension upgrade.

Thanks! So the exhaust is still stock. It’s a modified stock exhaust from Motobox.

Is the rs660 decent when it comes to reliability and maintenance?

I have had mine for about a year now and never had a single issue. I also over maintain my bike as well. Maintenance is about the same as any other bike.

I’m in Florida, and I’m about to get back into motorcycles after a very long break. Planning to buy an RS660. I’ve never ridden on the track. How do I find out about these track days, track lessons, clubs, etc?

That’s good to hear that you are getting back into riding and getting an RS660! So you can visit the Precision Track Days or Evolve GT websites and they will give you all of the info you need on how to sign up.

JenningsGp has novice days several times a year. They are held Friday's and I usually do Saturday. Precision also holds a few there. I've done both and would recommend either. I had a 1 on 1 with an instructor with Precision, great experience. You can see me talking to my coach at 11:12 LOL

I think it was around $160
