Been riding for many years, had both R6 2009 and GSX-R 600 2012 as full race bikes. Last two seasons I am riding Tuono 660 Factory and this bike is so much fun! It is much more playful and easy to hit the corners than the Japanese bikes. Aprilia chassis is truly something else, I effin love it!

Nice! You even have other middle weight class bike ls to compare it with. Glad you like it! 💪

I think if you are someone who already has a liter bike, everything else is just a complement. When I ride with 600's I always agree, that everything is pretty even/the same until you want to roll race, then the liter bikes shine. My next bike/second bike will be something smaller.

Yeah that’s why I want to use the 660 for the track. Don’t care to go as fast as I can or big horsepower. I like curves with a little bit of pep for some straights.

Ive done that on my zx6r about 12 years ago (dropped in garage after chain cleaning) and, recently on my gsxr 750 about a month ago but it was coming down a mountain this time avoiding people about to enter the road not looking, it was a light low side, easy to fix but the pride is what hurts the most. It happens to the best of us.

Oh man! Yeah dropping it in the garage is one thing where no one is looking. Out in public is a soul crusher. lol Yeah I guess I’m not the only one!

I dropped my RS660 in my garage as well a while back and had the same issue with the handle bar. After further inspection, the bolt that holds the clip-on bar on was bent. I ordered another one from af1 racing, good as new. Back in business.
@itsmeericb9 ай бұрын
Ahh okay not too bad! Yeah I was going to swap it all out for clip ons anyway so I guess I can’t be to mad lol. Just sucks I let it fall! 😭
@Knoxvillemoto9 ай бұрын
@@itsmeericb yeah, I feel that. I try to keep my bikes in the best shape I can. It ruins my day when something happens to them.

I have a label on the bar of my rear pitbull that says "side stand down and fully extended, jack ass", the label on the front bar has my tire PSI I like as I always forget. Glad the bar ends took it and not the Rizomas. I almost did the same exact thing and caught it.
@itsmeericb9 ай бұрын
Yeah I thought lt my Rizoma was done! lol I am installing new clip ons and top triple clamp.

That suck's. It's interesting how often riders drop their bikes stationary. Garage, parking lot, etc.

Hey, be glad it was in the garage. I did the same thing 4 months ago. Rolled into my garage and kicked the stand. I have a GSXR the stands are 1 butt hair past 90 degrees. I guess I was 2 butt hairs short. it fell on my leg. and I had to yell for a neighbor to help me. If we ride on 2 wheels we WILL drop it once in our lifetime. Be glad it wasn't at 80mph.
@itsmeericb9 ай бұрын
Ouch! Did it mess your leg up? Facts I think it will happen at least once to everyone. I dropped this bike, my MT-10 in the garage as well, but it fell against the wall luckily. That happened the day before I was selling it… Then I dropped my GSXR 1000 at the Tail of the Dragon. More of a light high side. 😢

I was in my boots so it didn't hurt too much, just a bruise on my back. and it pushed the mirror in. My foot got caught under my peg mount. I tried to kick the stand out but I wasn't quick enough. @@itsmeericb

The RC8R is almost double the engine size, so I wouldn't pick on the RS660 for losing a roll or drag.
@itsmeericb9 ай бұрын
Yeah lol the 660 isn’t a match at all. Just messing around. 😂

Haha nice! Its funny because i have a little KTM RC390 with like 44 hp 😅

Hey you still have a bike! Lol

@@itsmeericb true! And i chose the little rc to start on to eventually upgrade to the rc8r 🤩

100hp is not bad. My 750 with 2 grand in mods makes 143 to the tire.
