xoDayPlays Yeah, but at the same time castration has loads of negative side effects and is an invasive surgery and many dogs can live fine, healthy and long lives while being in tact while never getting to breed.
@xodayplays69225 жыл бұрын
@@entitledbobcat The info I found on side effects of dog castration are: 1. Weight gain - yes this could be a bad side effect... if you over feed your dog. 2. Behavioural changes - Less energy, calmer, less destructive ect.. I personally don't see this as a bad thing also. 3. Anaesthetic risks - yes a worry but it's rare to have problems with young animals when they come of age for castration. 4. Coat changes - as quoted in what I read, cocker spaniels grow longer coats when castrated. And last but not least - wound complications - of course infection is a risk, pulled stitches ect.. but keeping your dog in a clean enviroment should help this an keeping the dog calm, should heal very quickly. I personally think it is worth having your animals castrated to help the overgrowth of strays and abused/unwanted animals and the behaviour changes for the better... little to no humping, less destructive, less hyperness. Of course everyone has their own opinions over their own pets... I see countless animals posted free to a good home... and hear more stories of dog baiting... it is very sad :(

It's pretty common in the punk scene, actually. The parents dress punk but dress their kids in bright colors. Punk aesthetic often makes it hard to tell punks apart in a crowd. It's not great if you can't tell young children of punks apart in a crowd of punks. So the children are often dressed colorfully to be visible and distinguishable.

I wonder if Victoria ever felt like a broken record while doing this show. I mean, how hard is it to understand that dogs need exercise and discipline? Just imagine what a human child would be like if raised in a place with absolutely zero discipline and were also confined to a small area.
@JSkyGemini5 жыл бұрын
It happens. I don't think that people realize that a dog is a lot like having a lifetime toddler. They require care and attention and are going to be the equivalent of a 3 to 4 year old, their whole lives. That's why I always get my dogs from rescue agencies, oftentimes those poor things are examples of "buyer's remorse", which is horrible but fact.
@jilldurham54985 жыл бұрын
That's why they had Jo Frost the Supper Nanny for that very reason. Remember the Supper Nanny episodes and the parents letting their children run wild until Supper Nanny Jo Frost stepped in? I always call Victoria Stillwell and Jo Frost Mary Poppins. Cause they don't just help dogs and kids, but they bring families closer together also.
