My cat is easy to train too! She learned how to cross the street safely by watching how people do it all by herself. She even jumps off the bed onto the floor if she has an upset stomach so I don't have to rip my bed apart in the middle of the night. Heck, she can learn things like high five and sitting if I really wanted to. She's super into treats and learning... Knows all the tricks to get my attention too XD She's my smart little girl ❤

@MrWereWolfGirl
@MrWereWolfGirl 4 жыл бұрын
I mean, people usually try once- maybe even use something that's not that stimulating like a food for a toy driven dog and then they don't see results so they give up and say that their dog is untrainable when they should instead figure out what drives their dog to learn and use that and take darn time to teach their dogs. It seriously isn't a rocket science, you can't expect a child do learn something the second you tell them what you want them to learn so why expect a dog to do it perfectly the first try and not bother doing it over and over again until they do learn?

To a degree. I was told that I shouldn't get a border collie as a first dog as they're too much to handle. We do heelwork to music and trick training now. He's the calmest, most obedient dog any of my friends know. It just takes determination, support and consistency. I'm glad I ignored people who said I shouldn't get him.

Sona Avakian that’s not all ways the case. We got a Siberian husky as our first dog and ppl laughed at us bc huskies are stubborn and hard to train. But ever since we have gotten him it’s always been the fun. He knows when to be gentle and when to listen. Of course u should research breeds but not all dogs in the breed will have the same personality.

We had a boxer named Buck when I was little, we loved that dog so much, someone stole him from us and my dad searched for him and discovered the person who stole him was using him for fighting, my dad took his handgun and retrieved the dog, he was stolen from us again a year later, it was devastating for my family, my dad searched and searched for him, it was heartbreaking knowing why he was stolen and the life he was enduring after being taken from us, he was a smart and beautiful dog, my mom used to record us with cassette tapes when we would be hanging around the house eating meals etc (this was late 70's early 80's) and we have him on those tapes, you can me me saying "speak buck, speak" and he would bark, he was such a good dog. There is a special place in hell for monsters like that.

I know, boxers and fighting don't go hand in hand. They are truly angels put on earth to bring happiness in our lives. I had my boy Rio for 6 good years before we untimely lost him to an acute illness, not a day goes by when I don't remember the fond memories I shared with him, he was just such a goof ball and had so many expressions.

I thank Victoria for these videos, and the lessons. I have implimented some of her techniques and they have worked very well, and I gradually try more of them once my Teddy masters the basics. He is a Pomeranian just over a year old, so he still barks, but not near as much as my other two boys did, and we are working on it. Even the neighbours compliment us. Thank you Victoria and her crew, from a fan in Alberta, Canada.

😍 I just love Zulu, he's such an amazing, intelligent boy! Its no wonder he had trouble adjusting though from living on a ranch to then being stuck in such a small space for 8hrs a day & only being walked 3 times a week bless him, it's no wonder the poor boy was going nuts! Loved how he peekaboo'ed through the hole in the fence😆, then when he snuck on & off the bed & the next morning, 'Oh look mum & dad I stayed in my bed all night'the😂😂😂 As usual Victoria worked her magic & well done to the couple for doing everything Victoria advised them to do👍 Lastly well done Zulu for listening to your mum & dad & for doing as they ask, you all seem so much happier, a family who are now enjoying your lives together🐾💕🐾

They did such a great job with the training!! Hard work paid off. Near the end, you can see his social skills are still not developed. Zulu is pestering the heck out of that female. So he's not going to be safe with smaller dogs or dogs who don't put up with much nonsense. But with a little practice and feedback that can be improved. Remedial socialization is much longer than a month long process.

We have a boxer and we currently live in a tiny house. We walk him before work and after work and we have a dog walker every day when we are at work and he still has lots of energy. But he is calm, settled and well behaved. Boxers need lots of walks. Dont get one if you dont love walking. We also have lots of toys and stimulation inside the house. Without that he gets really bored really quick.
