If you think the first movie is good, the second film is next level. *Edit* Highly recommend you check out Tony Jaa in Ong Bak (3 movies). Came out mid 00's and introduced the world to Muay Boran, an ancient style of Thai boxing. Elbows, knees, brutal takedowns, and amazing stuntwork.

One thing you misunderstood about Mad Dog, is that he wasn’t giving the sergeant, or the brothers chances to fight to be respectful to them, it actually more sick and twisted than that. Not only is he confident that he can fight his way out of anything, but he enjoys the satisfaction of knowing that he just completely overpowered his opponent. He’d rather feel someone die in his hands, rather than just shoot them. He’s an irredeemable nutjob with insane skills.

The final fight makes me wonder how it would’ve been if Rama and his brother wasn’t so tired and banged up. Cause Mad Dog had the brother chained up and beating him down and Rama been fighting multiple people for several hours, shooting, diving through floors and jumped out a window while Mad Dog only was seen fighting the captain

Easily one of the best action films of all time, and the sequel is just as awesome. Two other excellent films on the same level (and involving a lot of the same people) are “The Night Comes for Us” and “Headshot,” both of which I’m pretty sure are available on Netflix. All four films are straight up next level.
