That "bubble" like bump where the rear bumper meets the trunk is almost a standard Ford panel gap for that generation. My mom's 2004 GT Convertible had the same issue off the show room floor in the same exact spot.

Wow that thing is bling black now! Gorgeous! Just add the chrome cobra letters to the rear bumper now for final touch and dark tints. I always ran 5% tint on all my mustangs and had the dark banner tint too. Congrats and enjoy that classic beauty.

For all your trim you can use tire shine as well. It has uv protectant and keeps it looking shiny. I use it for the svt badges on my raptor the hood vents and mirros.

3k is more than reasonable. I paid 3500 for a full paint correction, interior deep clean detail, full ppf and ceramic coat on my black 14 GT500. They also had it 5 days. Looks fantastic

Don’t ever pay for interior detailing….unless you’re REALLY lazy or REALLY rich…the rest of the stuff? Yeah for sure pay the pro it takes skill & it takes some good supplies/tools too

@@MS-mr4zm i agree. The interior detail was included with mine which they did a really good job on. I do most of my own detailing except paint correction. I have in the past, but I don’t have the time to dedicate to that anymore.

@@dirkx2350 yeah the place I had my wife’s MDX detailed at wanted an extra $350-$400 for the interior- no way! I can see on a really really trashed interior, but most car interiors you can get looking damn good on your own w/ standard household supplies & some elbow grease

@@racequad9to get a car prepped and painted by a reputable company these days is almost 10k anything less and you run a high risk of shoddy work and cut corners

@@satansnarwhal all the car needs is sanding and paint. I don't think there is much labor needed for it to be $10k. It's not like there is big damage that needs to be fixed. But maybe you're right for a paint job in your area; but in my area, a simple repaint would cost less than half including fixing the dings

Wow amazing detailing. Like it rolled out of the factory!! In 1996 i bought a new 96 GT with 4.6 L 5 speed manual, black on black leather. tons of torque but low on hp. no even close to this COBRA SVT.

I own one of these and the bumper has a bump in the "Gap-Relation" to the trunk. Common on almost all the Cobras. There is a video oh you fix it, but it usually comes back after ~6month of driving. As for the clear coat crack on the rear bumper, that is also common. The crack eventually leads to clear coat popping off.

I think the car came out looking pretty good and I'm glad it's nice and shiny My only complaint is the tire shine is just too aggressive and it just looks so unreal and not natural by any means. My best recommendation for a tire shine is to just use cerakote It actually works pretty well and it lasts quite a decent time and it looks more natural It looks like fresh new rubber not an overly saturated wet look

Windshield is factory, the green hue is oem. Gt , v6 models had blue hue windshield, track down some oem wipers.

Something interesting to do is to make a custom plate to put on that Eaton where the square in the front is at if you'r not going to replace the blower with something else. They did a great job, wowsa. It's still not perfect, but it's so clean

interested to hear your opinion on the windshield protection film in 6 months time. my sister had one on her car a couple years ago and had it removed because it was causing some minor but noticeable distortion. maybe tech has improved since then!

Just and FYI about the plastic outside cowl hood piece, they don't make them anymore. Mine was perfect and I sold mine after 2 minutes on FB marketplace and got $400 for it. I had 13 people after an hour that wanted it. I just said, whoever shows up first with $400 cash wins and that's what happened. This was during the Pandemic too, probably $800+ for it now. I tripled my money parting out a bunch of SN95's and Termi's (bought for parts).

you should know this being a cobra owner, the bump on the rear bumper ALL cobras have. it wasnt hit all cobra owners know about the notorious rear bumper bump. Also, you gotta keep the 10th anniversary floor mats not those aftermarket ones.. Lastly, its vin.. not Vin number. but beautiful 10th anniversary!
