Lol I kind of realize that this week, vlogging in 60 fps vs 30 fps, I think I prefer 60, just more convenient for me, able to slow things down in post, cars and bikes passing by look better and to be honest, the casual viewer doesn't really notice. So, yeah! Anyway great video Sky.

Weird question, I notice the skin being harsh on my GoPro 12, even with hdr off. Any tips? Turn sharpness down? Btw, this camera looks amazing! The low light is insane!

Day 2 of waiting for the Drop of the Dji Mic 2 drip check … soooooo I checked my savings and just went to town and bought a set, and it inspired me to make a video about it as well, found a missing feature nobody is talking about and have been filming and editing most of the evening … juuust gotta film a couple of more clips tomorrow and then release the Kraken :) Have a good one, and thanks for all the inspiration :)

Hey great video!! Love the quality of them. Question... Which one would you consider faster/better for video process workflow (record, export, edit and publish), the DJI Action 4 or Insta360 ace pro? I am stuck between these two, I want my first action camera to be a good purchase and last me for a while. I am a DYI guy and also like to hike from time to time. I want my first action camera to be well used to record DYI projects and outdoor hobbies, potentially vlogs and use it as a complementary camera to capture different angles for projects around the house, have the least amount hassles during the processing and getting my videos ready for KZbin. Which would you recommend?

Something that I notice with mine is that it shuts itself off after about 30 minutes of record time.... I think I got a defective unit.

Sweetie & I got the Ace Pro and do love it. And we loooooove Insta360 as a company (mainly OneX2). That said, DJI MIC 2 changed EVERYTHING! That RECIEVERLESS Bluetooth audio integrated with ACTION 4 (and POCKET 3) changes EVERYTHING. So all beer 🍻 vlogs will be shot with pocket 3. And ACTION 4 will ALWAYS be on my belt with a pearl white DJI mic 2 in my coin pocket. To have INSTANT wireless audio is a point of no return. I can NEVER go back to having to plug in a receiver. HOPEFULLY Insta360 steals this idea in 2024 and has their own mic and integrates with (hopefully) forthcoming OneX4 . I'm with you! I have the Action 4 and Pocket 3 creator combo and just ordered the 2nd DJI Mic 2 on launch day. This is the best setup for my needs by far. Only other thing I use is HoverAir X1.

I would love for you to "Bring the sauce!" with a LUT for the Ace Pro. I am a newbie/hobbyist just learning Davinci. Color grading is like black magic to me.😂. Excellent review.

Yea you can but you’ll need a mic adapter which I think they sell on the site

Yo Sky, “It’s BIG!” That’s what someone said! Sorry being politically correct but you set yourself up for that. A couple accessories that is on their way for the AP and P3 which I believe you have as well: - For AP: Make Art Now 3D filter adapter for close focus distance; - For P3: TheStudio3D. He’s out or Sioux Falls, South Dakota and made some magnetic. There are two types: 1) small one with 2 cold shoes but cannot fit in DJI’s case. It has a 1/4” screw mount and stronger magnet variant which I got; and 2) a bigger one which fits with the DJI’s case. It also has a 1/4” screw mount and stronger magnet variant. I also got this one so I can swap when I need cold shoes. Check them out and if you do use them, let me know what you think. No affiliations! Keep up the good video contents and positive vibes!

I’m not a fan of the image quality from the 360. At least compared to the Sony and DJI. Maybe it’s the hdr, some of the clips really didn’t look good compared to the usuals

Another great review Sky. I saw your review on the Pocket 3 and its low light capabilities. When comparing with the Pocket 3, I believe that the Ace Pro would be more practical, however, can its stabilised video compare with the Pocket 3 in low light? Cheers.

Dude, I beat you to it ;) Went out and bought the simple combo and managed to make and publish a video about it beating you to the punch ;) - got some mixed emotions about it though, no internal recording while connected to phone with bluetooth almost made it a «no-go», but found some workarounds for my scenarios, making a follow up video with some proper audio examples, and what scenarios it’s good for :) BUT: Could you do a check to see if there is a difference in quality when the mic 2 is connected to the pocket 3 vs connected to a smartphone with bluetooth? had some viewers asking about it, and my guess is the pocket 3 has a mini-version of the dji receiver built in and the mic 2 connects through that (better quality than bluetooth) but would be nice ti have it confirmed :)
