Some rotors mount the way you have them, some mount the other direction. What matters is if the veins inside the rotors are angled and that's what you go off of when you mount them. Some manufacturers will tell you how they mount when you order them, either on their website or a note that comes with your order. Usually when I see slotted rotors like yours, they're installed the way you have them.

Hey Sonny, as for the direction of the drilled/slotted rotor does not matter at all unless directed by the manufacturer itself. the slots on the rotor is to clean dust off brake pads so you can have more area contact for braking and the holes are to cool down the rotor.

The slots are suppose to face forward unless the manufacturer say otherwise. The slots are there to help dissipate brake dust, that's why you're suppose to face them forward. So when you drive forward the slots help fling the brake dust backward and out of the wheel. You probably won't notice unless you track the car but if you see excess brake dust, you might want to flip it in the right direction. The drilled holes are for heat dissipation.

Nice Nice !! Like it my boii! I just did the same thing to my car. It's not painted yet because I will be getting the overfenders for the car to make it a wide body. But when I do it'll be painted a dark charcoal gray. Right now my car is a dark charcoal grey but it looks black. The only way I found out that my car is a dark gray is because I used a compound remover to remove all the mildew on top. After that I waxed it or polished it just like how you did. And my car even has flakes that I never knew about. So I'm really excited to see that you're doing the same things that I'm doing. yea i was comment like that too before, because i saw bike rotors slot is not like that when brand new from the factory. for aesthetics, i think look better when the rotor twisted to the front direction. that's just in my opinion. but if your brakes not get any problem or noises, that means it's okay. but, anyone remember 9:28?? ok, this is how drilled and slotted discs work, the direction of the drill or the slots plays less role, it is inside, between the disc's surface areas that play a role, all ventilated discs have small walls that are usually straight but there are some that has bent walls that follows the direction of the drills and or slots and that's when it matters how to mount the discs. so as long as your discs have straight walls you can mount them how you want.

I was always thought that the slants should go towards the brake calipers. So like if (8) your caliper the slots should be pointed toward the caliper like \ \ \ (8) - __ - \ \ \
