I actually really love my I8 i just wish it had lane assist. BMW didn’t add a lot of thing that are standard on even low end cars. But i like the drive and the engine. I had an Audi R8 before this and it was a huge problem.

Hi there, thanks for making this video! I’ve been considering an i8 for quite some time now and yes, they are a bit pricey so wanted to make sure it was something I really wanted to own. After seeing your video, now I’m not so sure. I guess I’ll have to take one for a test drive to see if it’s a good fit for me or not. I don’t like the idea of things constantly needing repairs, that can be a real hassle! Thanks again!

My Z4 is pretty fun and I’m aware i8’s aren’t all that great but they’ve been my dream car for a hot minute and if I ever come across the funds for one I’d love to try it out. My Z4 is a 2006 3.0i Roadster and I’d like to say it’s roughly 210 HP. Was cruising around late one night and saw an i8. Got into a race with it and won. Don’t care, it’s a beautiful car.

I have an i8 and I can’t agree with you more. One thing I did change was I got a tune and a custom Mclaren 720S exhaust which made the car significant more responsive and faster. And it shoots flames! lol The electric range I get on the car is around 9 miles. Wish it was at least around 30 miles.

I see you said you replaced the knob, just curious if it was because it stopped lighting up? The little green rectangle that shows the gear I'm in randomly stops lighting up and wasn't sure if this was a common prob. Its a warranty fix so no biggy but just curious. You should look into a ECU tune and the Maxhaus booster. I installed those in my car a month after having it and it does make it more fun. I got the Evolve tune which boosts it over 400hp and the Maxhaus makes the car sound so much meaner. It makes it sound like a throaty v8 albeit it is still fake noise. BTW love the wrap, just wrapped mine satin perfect blue. Enjoy!
