Producer was project designer during those days and most of them were well known finance controllers . Unni might be good at that where as Panikker was only just a source of providing money for the project.

Venu Gopal. You marvel at how Uni became Kireedam Uni without putting out the money for Kireedam. Dinesh Panikar did put the money into the production of Kireedam. Well can understand your surprise at this happening. Now there is something you did not think of in this context. You Know R Mohan of Goodknight films produced and Badhran directed Spadikam. Yet an actor who played a policeman in the film is known as Spadikam George. Why not marvel at this fact. Sometimes these things happen with no logic at all. Hope Dinesh sir can find some consolation knowing this truth.

Imagine if DP sir had distributed Sadayam. I still fight in my head between Kireedom and Sadayam as to which is the best of the two films. I was lucky to see Sadayam at the cinema but Kireedom (or Malayalamfilms were not released in my country those days) was only available by video.

Dear Dinesh sir. We are all indians according to the Constitution of India. We accept it.. But our Constitution is only a construction placed on us by the few England educated Indians like Nehru, Gandhi, Ambedkar, V K Krishna Menon and others. But we know we are very different from each other by our ancestral traditions and we never intermarry because our cherished inherited temperaments can get diluted.
