Arthur Findlater who featured in this programme not only made award-winning wooden toys but he also once owned a huge collection of tin toys which were put up for auction in 2014. He was in his early 30s when this programme was made but sadly in the early 2000s he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis which eventually confined him to a wheelchair.

This was definitely repeated in the Summer Term 1994 on Channel 4 Schools.
