You can see the ROB shield was shifted right. It’s almost like he knew this was a thing… EDIT: because as other comments have mentioned, it’s a combination of cloud’s grab being small and Rob’s shield being big/weird

It's bad, but it's not the slowest or shortest by far. Min Min's is the slowest, Icies is the shortest.

You can tilt the grab to be upper middle or lower, looks like u grabbed down, because some characters can dodge grabs with crouching, so it missed.

@@Ericspil790 first off his grab gives like no reward, cloud is going to be doing landing bair a lot and he has rps after with ftilt or up tilt or jumping away to set up another bair. Bair also EATS shield like he doesn’t need to condition for grab he can just frame trap you forever. And second of all clouds disadvantage is amazing, his recovery isn’t amazing but how often do you actually see sparg0 get edge guarded? And don’t just say “oh that’s just sparg0” because the people edge guarding him are also world class talent.

I said he needs that because he had it in smash 4, just as an example if characters like pythra or Roy (better characters than cloud) have a pretty decent grab and throw game to be Swordies and having shield pressure as well, why can’t Cloud? Literally is dead with 1 read off stage if he has no limit, and sorry but that’s a spargo thing he’s just that good and doesn’t help people even in the top level respects cloud too much, U have a lot of examples about this, just watch sonix vs spargo, he destroyed cloud off stage, that’s what should happen most of the time people fight cloud, I could say too a lot of examples about cloud being dead off stage and people just letting him get back for no reason, and a lot of people have a safe playstile which sucks against cloud cuz u have to pressure him. So his disadvantage is mediocre at best

I know the true reason behind this isn’t a cloud issue it’s actual with most characters rob when he raises his arms up like that you basically have to use a hit box that hit his core or it doesn’t work. Literally stupid Luigi upb doesn’t hit because of this even if you are right next do to him
