Great breakdown - Really looking forward to the changes they talked about that are coming. Lots of potential for D2. I used to enjoy stasis a fair bit on my Warlock, so cautiously optimistic the subclass will be playable from the look of this seasons artifact Only downside i see this act is we will Need radically larger vaults with the armor set bonuses and new armor stats. Especially in the early days of saving a couple of the better ones while we hunt our final pieces . the thought of difficult vault choices after class items and ergo sum rolls have cluttered already ... Ouch.

We had pretty much same version of that breech and clear mod in the season Spire of Stars came out. Difference was it didn't have that "Boost" part, it was all in the normal mod. It was 15% weaken like usual.

Forgot Euphony existed, but anyone remember the artifact mod: Shuttle Horde, one where dealing damage to an unraveled target can spawn in threadlings. Swarmers and Euphony would go crazy with that.

I know people are all over Stasis, which is exactly what you’re meant to be don’t get me wrong. But I think theres a subtle yet amazing arc warlock build hidden in just one or two of those mods. The main one being ionic trace = armour charge which I imagine will just act as Electrostatic mind time two or more. Run a geomag or fallen Sunstar arc build, or a fellwinter arcslide prismatic build. It works best with the pure arc though, as arc warlock is all about just endless ionic traces (espc with coldheart). About 5/10 seconds into any encounter you’ll have max armour charge, and easily be able to maintain that forever in a fight. Use coldheart with the special ammo blind fragment, or centrifuse (no fragment needed) if you have good aim and can manage its charge/ammo. Crowd control will be a joke with just one weapon and abilities. Focus your super (geomag chaos reach) and other two weapons on pure DPS, personally a scatter signal or mountaintop with an edge transit heavy for me.

I really wish Bungie could create separate unstoppable, overload and anti-barrier mods that you can place into any weapon (like how you can make a weapon full-auto by slotting in that retrofit, etc), so if you want a trace rifle or rocket launcher or whatever that's un, over or anti you can just slot that thing in and there you go. It would not only create more interesting gameplay, but it would also free up that entire first row of the artifact and allow them to add more interesting gameplay elements

I really hope they make some of the artifact perks into part of the subclasses. Stasis still needs more buffs, reworks etc. cause it’s still much weaker than most subclasses. For example Howl of The Storm on Titan should be a stasis version of consecration

I just got Euphony yesterday after 46 clears. I was hoping for Strand synergy in the artifact so I could make a build, too. Hopefully in the future we'll get Particle Deconstruction to pair with it.

vesper of radius with debilitating wave may be strong next season combined with the glaive that has jolt shot and the seasonal perk that gives arc traces on jolt kills.

@ItzTizzle first love your content ...but I REALLY disagree with removing time gating ... For the majority of player base you have to have steps to overcome in order for the health of the game. Sure you could get everything at once then they would say there is not anything left to do. Most people play Destiny as a daily driver with highs for Raids and dungeons then new seasons new weapons NFs to keep players active in general progression so to keep the majority engaged and numbers at a level the time gate should stay.

@@ryancameron4170 yeah I’ve been using prismatic hunter with mothkeeper’s and Ex Diris for about the last 2 months now. It’s busted. I’m also using deadfall for the super and withering blades for the melee. Those are also going to help the build next season.

@@KipVelcrono I still use defender. I use edge of action, I use helm of saint 14. It’s fun as hell. Screw the meta. I’m not allowing some “meta” or streamers dictate how I play my game. I play to have fun with my friends and I can still play through end content just fine. I’m sad radiant orbs is gone that’s literally the only “owie” I felt looking at this artifact. I don’t use grenade launchers outside of edge transit. I don’t have to use grenade launcher. Stasis is fun, I’ll play with stasis. So what I’m gonna continue to use whatever the hell I want to

It keeps things from being otherwise just the same meta though with few changes? Remember that there will be more perks in Act 2 & 3, so it will eventually open up more options to consider which you might not have before.
