Couple other notes: * I’m joking around about the “real k-pop fan” and “real k-pop band” labels. Gate-keeping is bad for hobbies. But you’ve gotta admit-whether band or fan-having a full-on light stick is a rite of passage. * For the timeline, I played started religiously playing DDR 3rd Mix Korea ver. 2 at my local arcade around...2001-ish? And the US Wonder Girls album presale solicitation was in 2009, only to finally be cancelled in 2013. * Neither batteries nor AC adapter are included. You’ve gotta supply your own juice. * I worry that the battery door is too easy to remove, and it may come off if bumping around while gripping the ring. Not like it’s super-loose, but neither does it feel especially secure. * Oops, I misspelled "rechargeable." * As you might have been able to see in the video, the inner radius of the light ring has a window so that the LED effects also shine inward. * Ryujin is my favorite of the members.

Did yours came with the 5 photocards? Mine came without, I wonder is it only the Pre-order gets it (mine just arrive 10 minutes before typing this comment)

No, mine did not. I ordered from an eBay reseller, and the listing was about $20-$25 cheaper than other listings that did include the cards. I believe the cards were indeed separate pre-order bonuses rather than included in the box.

I think my special quirk will wind up being talking about packaging (where worth noting), because I'm an industrial design nerd like that. Putting the "box" back in "unboxing," so to speak.

do you have any tips on how to get the third battery out of the light ring even when you use the plastic strip? even after pulling the plastic strip the third battery is still hard to take out because it gets stuck between the first two springs on top 😭

If you want to be careful about not scratching the inside of the battery compartment, I'd suggest using a wooden toothpick to help pry out the + side of the battery. Push the + side of the battery away from the wall, back towards the spring. You may actually want to re-seat the - side of the battery down into the compartment to allow the + side more room to angle out away from the upper springs. Alternatively, you can try to compress down the - spring of the lower battery so that you can lift the battery - side first. I wish you good luck!

How tf do I get the batteries out without breaking it I cut the plastic thing not knowing what it was for 😭😭😭
@channelc4974 жыл бұрын
Oh no, that's really unfortunate! Anyway, I did some experimentation for you, and using a toothpick stuck between the upper springs, I was able to push down the lower battery and pry it upwards. Or maybe one of those really narrow "jeweler's screwdrivers." (Though I'd recommend using the softer wooden toothpick so as not to risk scratches.) Once you've solved that problem, I'd recommend making your own pull strip for future usage, even if it's not attached like the old one was. Use a ribbon, some plastic from a cut-up sandwich bag, or even a strip of paper folded once over (so it's not too thick). Then, because it's not attached at one end, make it long enough so it has 2 "ears" that you can pull on both so that you can lift up the lower battery. (Because some adhesive won't be strong enough, I wouldn't want you to risk pulling at one end, only for the ostensibly attached end to pull away and under the battery, leaving you holding the whole detached strip.)

Channel C thank you! But when I was trying to get the battery out the top spring bent do you think I could shape it again with pliers or something??
@channelc4974 жыл бұрын
You can try, but I would be very careful because if you wiggle it around too much, you risk weakening the steel and snapping it off. And if it breaks off, then the light ring may no longer be able to receive power without some further modifications. Honestly, I think you should leave it alone and just nudge the spring back into place whenever you insert the battery. If you leave the battery inserted for a while, the spring may even begin to be re-shaped back into position.
