Thank you! Her stage name is pronounced just like saying the letters individually.. “I” “U” It means “you and I are becoming one with music.” Her real name is Lee Jieun. I think you’d love the song even more if there were lyric translations available. She wrote this song, as she does with the majority of her music. She’s a lyricist, composer, producer & actress. Also recommend her live version of “Love Wins All.”

To add to what people have already commented, IU is statistically Korea's most successful singer from the digital era, at least domestically. She debuted really young (15, now 31) and after a bit of a rough start, rose to prominence through the early 2010s epecially with the song Good Day. She has over 30 number 1 singles in Korea and really dominated when she took control of her music by around 2015. She's still incredibly popular with much broader demographic of listeners than the typical kpop crowd. Following the similar theme, I'd recommend checking out live performances (hosted her YT channel, which doesn't seem to copystrike) of My Sea, Blueming, Eight, Hold My Hand. You can then dive deeper into her discography which is now 130+ songs.

She is the fairy queen, she can sing, write, act and dance. She is great hosting shows and her live performance is often qualified as good if not better that studio recording. The unfortunate fact is that translating Korean lyrics into English is terrible. Compared to Korean, English has a simple expression, so there is no way to translate it. I've been learning Korean for 5 years and I don't know all the expressions, but I'm more in love because I can understand her lyrics.
